Upon approval of the Bill, the appropriate government agency, LTO for that matter, will already

draft a policy on how the painting of the jeepneys will go on. The said government agency will already
identify the colors for each jeep group. Upon identifying on what color then they are going to identify
the number of units per jeep group through the association. So for example, Irisan Jeepney Operators
and Drivers Association shall be consulted by the LTO how many legal units exist and that would be the
number of jeepneys that would undergo the government project through the government aid that is
proposed. The LTO will already publish for bidding the details of how the project will go on. The details
that shall be included The said bidding will be opened for interested shops that offers a painting
service for jeepneys. Each interested shop will already submit its bid to the LTO. Then, LTO will already
schedule the formal opening of the sealed bids and then during the opening of the sealed bids, whoever
would be the lowest bidder will get the project. Upon assignment of the project to a particular shop to
paint the jeep, the LTO will instruct the association of the particular jeepney group to disseminate the
instruction that all registered public jeepneys under their association will only have their jeepneys
painted by the shop that was chosen during the bidding.
