REFLECTION

My experience during demo teaching was tough but it was all worth it. It
was really hard to choose what topic would be better for my demo teaching,
and what activities do I need to do just to have the attention of my students. I
faced different problems like financially, mentally, emotionally ang physically. I
struggled doing or making my instructional materials. I had a problem managing
my time because I still have many things to do other than the demo teaching.

During our consultation, I was really nervous because of the topic that
I’ve chose. I was worried that maybe my students get bored during my demo
teaching. I was worried because I am not that confident to be in front of many
people. But I was so happy that Ma’am Diane helped me, all of us and she
guided us. To tell you honestly, I was so pressured because I feel like half of
our class were already got hired. My nerves were shaking.
After all the preparations, our demo teaching has started. I was so
nervous because I am the last demonstrator. I am also nervous for our group
but before we started, we prayed first. We asked His guidance for us to have a
successful demo teaching. My groupmates were already done. Then my time
has come. I was surprised about myself because I didn’t get nervous. I mean it
stopped. Maybe because I witnessed the demo teaching of my groupmates and
I was really happy for them that I forgot to be nervous. I was really thankful that
it was a successful demo teaching.

I must say that I will never forget this experienced. This is our first demo
teaching and I was so happy that I got hired. All the hardships were worth it. I
am thankful for my groupmates and friends for helping me making my
instructional materials. I am thankful for the support that they gave to me. I am
thankful for Ma’am Diane for all the patients that she gave us. Lastly, for my
family that gave me strength to work hard and do my best all the time. I enjoyed
this demo teaching experienced of my mine. I learned to be patient, never lose
hope and believe in yourself. I will never forget this. This really helped me, us,
to be prepared even more for another demo teaching to come. It was really a
great experience indeed.
