NSEF 2020Guidelines and Agreement

1. Changing of proponents is not allowed once the pre-evaluation result had been released.
2. Proponents agree to submit the requirements seven 7 days after the confirmation.
3. Each school should only have one or two focal persons to coordinate with the organizers. Direct message from the
students will not be entertained. If the students do not have an adviser, parent or guardian will do.
4. All communications should have either an endorsement letter or simply a message from the sender. Emails with just an
attachment will not be considered.
5. All the forms should properly labeled. No more revisions will be allowed once the final copy is submitted.
6. For Proponents with more than one entry payment will be per Title/Entry
7. Non-attending project proponents will not be included in the official list of participants.
8. If for any reason a proponent who has already paid but can’t attend the event proper, NO REFUND policy will apply.
9. Proponents strictly should follow the guidelines, forms and rules set by the Organizer failure to do so may result in
disqualification of entry.
10. For any comments, questions or clarifications on the List of Winners formal letter should be submitted to the Organizers
thru email. This will be acted upon validation within 10 working days upon receipt of email; verbal complaints or
contention will be entertained during the event
11. The judges and scientific review committee decision will always be final. The score and tally sheets of the judges will not
be released to the participants.
12. Upon receipt of Kits including snacks kindly counter check prior to signing the acknowledgement. Once receiving form is
signed, complains about the kits will not be entertained anymore. Only the focal person of the delegation is allowed to
check and receive all the kits.
13. Participants agree that wholesome and non-humiliating photos and videos during the event will be publicly share by the
other finalists and organizers.
14. Organizers are not liable for any accidents that may happen due to the participant’s negligence or any existing medical
condition worsen or occur during the event. Bring medications if the participants need personal maintenance medicines.
Do not allow participants if the event could possibly worsen hi/her medical condition.
15. The participants agree not to INDEMNIFY, INFLICT HARM or THREAT AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the following
Entities or Persons: STEM EDUCATION TRAINING HUB and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers,
representatives, and the activity holders, sponsors, and volunteers from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of
participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.
16. The organizers have the right to cease the participation of the participants that are unruly, malicious and with scandalous
behavior from the event. We do not want the students to be expose in the utmost violence.
17. The participants agree not to public humiliate (Social media, private messages, billboards, Tulfo etc.) the participants and
organizers of the event if he/ she has personal complains. Due process shall be applied if there are justifiable complains.
18. Participants shall agree to follow the cleanliness rules of the venue as well as stay responsible with their personal
belongings during the event organizers shall not be liable for any loss of material things during the event.
