A. Mechanics

a) Players (2-4) will dram their starting points on opposite corners on


a piece of paper called the “field”. These starting points are
called “posts”.

b) Taking turns, each player each player will flick a pen starting
from their posts forming a line. Each player will have different
shapes to draw at the end of every line formed which will then
become another starting point. Those shapes are called
“troopers”.

c) Lines drawn from the posts belong to the first knot. Lines
branching from any line in the first knot belong to the second
knot and so on.

d) A player can strike their opponent’s trooper/s. Troopers that are


struck will be eliminated along with its branches.

e) First to reach and complete the third knot wins. Note that a
trooper must have at least two branches in order to complete
the knot.
B. Rules

a) The standard size for the field is 8.5 x 11 inches for two players
and 17 x 11 inches for 3-4 players.

b) Players must use the same type of pen with the same ball point
or lead.

c) Players can only make one move per turn.

d) A player can only use one finger to flick his or her pen.

e) A player may strike two troopers with one flick.

f) Post sizes must be in between 0.5 x 0.5 inches to 1 x 1 inches.

g) Troopers must be visible enough for their shape to be identified


by the umpire.

h) Failure to comply with these rules is a ground for disqualification.
