Japanese relocation

[National Archives]

Japanese Americans arrive at the Santa Anita Assembly Center in Arcadia, California prior to going to a relocation center on April 5,
1942. Following Pearl Harbor, persons of Japanese ancestry living on the West Coast were required to go to internment camps for
"security" reasons.
