INTRODUCTION
SKE is in the field of “FIRE FIGHTING AND PLUMBING “work since last ten years. We
have well experienced executive’s engineers and workmen.
 This document defines the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirement to be
implemented during the completion of project by SKE.
 Safety shall be managed as per safety standard and work regulation act. (Building and other
Construction Work )
 Management shall set the safety objectives which shall be Specific, Measureable,
Achievable, and Realistic to the task within the time scale.

 Safety objectives are to ensure that the project shall be carried out without causing any
injury or illness to personnel’s.
 Company has the equal value to SAFETY, QUALITY, and PRODUCTION.
 Everyone in the organization should work to achieve customer satisfaction by

supplying/completing defect free projects on time.
 SKE Safety target will be “ZERO” accident/incident.
 The basic responsibility of enforcing this guideline rests with the project manager of site
and safety officer of the site will assist him by implementing safe working practice.
 SKE believes that managing safety is a line responsibility and it is a good business practice
to provide safe working environment to the workmen of site.
 SKE safety slogan is “THINK SAFETY WORK SAFELY”.

EHS POLICY
The company considers the health and safety of its people and environment protection to
be among its greatest responsibilities.

Accordingly the company undertakes measures to minimize the risk from hazard in the
work place, to protect the natural environment and to safe guard the health and safety of
employees, safety of contractor, and sub-contractor.
To achieve the aim of the occupational Health, Safety and Environment policy the company
shall,
 Develop and maintain a safe work environment and safe system of work practice within the
scope of legislative provision.
 Provide necessary trainings and guidelines to all employees.
 Provide adequate personal protective equipment to protect employees from hazard which
cannot be otherwise eliminated or controlled.
 Ensure the safety/medical emergency procedure is disseminated to all employees, and
maintain adequate first aid facilities.
 Conduct safety audits to monitor effectiveness of existing policies/procedures, identify
work practice/condition that are potentially harmful to employees, and implement
corrective measures as low as reasonably practicable.
The company recognized that the achievement of an effective occupational health, safety and
environment program demands the active and positive involvement of all levels of management,
and requires the full participation and support of all employees.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

PROJECT INCHARGE: - Project In charge is responsible for health and safety of
employees working with him. Key responsibility of manager shall be
 Establishing a culture of continuous improvement of Health and Safety performance.
 Providing sufficient Information, Training, Instruction, and Supervision to help
employees for working safely.
 Provide safe environment and welfare facility.

 Providing Safe equipment and Plant.

 Demonstrating personal commitment to “ZERO” accident/incident.
 Setting Health and Safety performance improvement targets, and aims.
 Providing adequate personal protective equipments.
SITE ENGINEER/SUPERVISOR: - These are the following responsibility of site

engineer / supervisor.
 Must know the safety standard and procedures.
 Must know the hazard associated/ related to the work activity and their preventive
measures.
 Ensure the proper usage of P.P.E. and safety appliances by the work force.
 Ensure everybody should be aware of emergency plan and emergency exits.
 Discuss the safety policy with all the workers and make the policy effective on site.
SAFETY OFFICER; - Safety officer has the responsibility to give advice to management
on Health and Safety.
 Identify the hazards associated/related with the task.

 Suitable and sufficient risk assessment shall be carried out by the site safety officer.
 Implementation of safe system of work and performance standard.
 Providing information on legal requirements.
 Carrying out safety inspection of work place.
 Investigating Accidents/ Incidents, keep record and give feed back to management.
 Conducting safety Trainings, induction training, tool box talk, etc.
RESPONSIBILITY OF EMPLOYEES;-There are following responsibilities of employees.

 Not to endanger themselves and others by their own action.
 Not to use damaged equipment, and tools.
 Co-operation with employer to maintain good safety standard.
 Follow the Instruction, Information, and Training provided by the employer.
 Provide information on any dangers, and other problems with health and safety
arrangements.
 Proper use of Personal Protective Equipments.
 Report any dangerous occurrence, near miss, and accidents/ incident occur on the site.

SAFETY STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES
1)HOT WORK ACTIVITY;-

Any work which is potentially hazardous and can cause of Fire and Explosion, Heat,
Stress, Excessive light, Ultra-violet radiation, Fumes, etc. These activities shall be controlled by
adopting “PERMIT –TO – WORK “system.
PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN FOR HOT WORK ACTIVITY
 Activity shall be carried out by only component or skilled person.

 Activity shall be carried out at a safe distance from combustible/ flammable materials.
 Power supply shall be kept off from the source when not in use.
 Fire extinguishers must be kept on site.

 All combustible materials shall be stored separately.

 Electrical equipment shall be inspected prior to use.
 Activity shall be carried out under the component supervision.
 Adequate P.P.E. must be used.
2) WORKING AT HEIGHTS; - Any activity which can be done above the ground level
will consider as WORKING AT HEIGHT. It can cause fall from Height, Equipment fall from
height, Slip and trip, High speed wind hazard, etc. Working at height shall be consider
working on scaffold (above 2mtrs from the ground), working on roof, working on un
protected edge of the building level, working on ladders, etc.
PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT
1) Only standard scaffold or platform shall be used when working at height.

2) Only trained and authorized person shall erect the scaffold or platform.
3) Only trained and authorized person shall work at height.
4) Ladders must be inspected prior to use.
5) Only good condition ladders shall be used.
6) Do not keep any loose materials on the scaffold platform.
7) Fall protection device shall be used when working above 2mtrs from ground level.
8) Proper P.P.E. shall be used.
3) ELECTRICAL SAFETY; - Using of electricity can cause electric shock, electrical

burns, electrical fire and explosion, etc. Can cause while using electrical tools during
activities like, Welding, Grinding, Machining. Permit - to - work required for working on any
live electrical panel or for maintenance of any machinery or equipments.
PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN FOR ELECTRICAL SAFETY

 Only good cables and wires shall be used.
 Only trained and authorized person shall operate the machinery or equipments.
 Only authorized and component person shall be appointed for maintenance work.
 Cables and wires shall be disconnected from the supply source when not in used.
 All electrical equipment shall be earthed properly.

 Clear instruction, information, shall be given prior to work.

 Good and clear communication shall be maintained.
 Only good condition socket and plug shall be used.
 Do not touch any switch with wet hand, feet.Only dry cloths shall be used when working with
electricity.
 Do not over load electric circuit.
 Only insulated tools and equipment shall be used.
 Adequate P.P.E. must be used.
4) LIFTING AND SLINGING; - For lifting and slinging heavy materials / equipments.
Some mechanical means shall be used, Like Mobile crane, Tower crane, Over-head crane,
Jib crane, Trolleys and jacks, etc. Some serious accident / incidents can cause due to
mechanism failure, miss-use, over loading, un-authorized or un-trained persons, etc.
PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN FOR LIFTING AND SLINGING
1) Only trained and authorized person shall be assigned to operate the equipment or
machine.
2) Only certified and tested equipment shall be used.
3) Equipments shall be used as per S.W.L (Safe working load).
4) The load shall be determined before it is rigged for lift.
5) All rigging gears shall be stored separately.
6) All rigging gears and equipments must be inspected prior to use.
7) Clear and good communication shall be maintained with co-worker.
8) Signalman (Flag man) shall be assigned for signaling.
9) Lifting shall not be allowed when the wind speed is too high.
10) Always use TAG-LINE for controlling the suspended load.
11) A load shall not be kept suspended in the air when the hoist or crane is un attended.
MANUAL HANDLING; -
Lifting and shifting materials manually can cause Pinch injury, Strain, Back pain,
Hernias, Fractures, Cut, Crush, etc. some precaution can be taken when performing
manual handling.

PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN FOR MANUAL HANDLING
1) Always get help if the load is too big or difficult to handle.

2) If necessary, use mechanical lifting equipments.
3) Grip the object properly with whole hand using palm and figures.
4) Maintain good body position.
5) Pathway shall be cleared of any obstructions.
6) Maintain good communication, Timing, and Co-Ordination while more than one
employee is used for manual handling.
7) Appropriate protective hand gloves shall be used when handling Rough, Sharp, Hot, or
Hazardous chemicals.
5) GRINDING WORK ;- Grinding activity can cause Eye injury, Face injury, Cut, Hand
injury, Noise, Dust, Ergonomic hazard, Fire and explosion, etc. Following precaution
shall be taken when performing grinding activity.
PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN FOR GRINDING WORK
 Only trained and authorized person shall be assigned for grinding work.
 Equipment shall be inspected prior to use.
 Correct speed type grinding disc shall be used for correct speed type machine.
 Wheels/Disc that has been dropped shall not be used.
 Grinder shall be used with manufacturers approved guard.
 Work piece shall be secured properly throughout the grinding operation.
 Sparks and Hot metal shall not be allowed to fall on personal or combustible materials.
 Do not use grinding disc from side.
 Proper P.P.E. shall be used.
6) EXCAVATION: - Excavation can cause fall hazard, collapse of adjacent structure,

contact with buried services, hazardous atmosphere, etc.
PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN FOR EXCAVATION

 Excavation should be done by only trained and authorized person.
 Buried services must be detected prior to start excavation work.

 Sufficient support to be given from all the sides.

 Area should be barricaded and signed must be placed.
 Sufficient ventilation and light should be provided.
 Proper P.P.E should be used.
7) PERMIT TO WORK; - A permit – to – work procedure is a formal written system

used to control certain types of work which are potentially hazardous. E.g. Excavation
work, Work in confined space, working at heights, hot work, Radiography work.
Generally permits are classified into two types.
1) HOT WORK. 2) COLD WORK PERMIT.
1) HOT WORK PERMIT; - Hot work permit used to prevent Fire and Explosion
through presence of flammable atmosphere.i.e. Gas cutting work, Welding work,
Soldering, Brazing, Grinding. Etc.
2) COLD WORK PERMIT; - Cold work permit used to identify the hazards
associated to the task and sufficient control is set to prevent an accident /incident
throughout the activity. Cold work permit required for Working in confined space,
working at height, Electrical work, Painting work, Radiation / Radiography work. Etc.
8) HOUSE KEEPING;-
 Housekeeping can be defined as systematic arrangements of all equipment,

materials, machinery, combustible materials which present fire risk shall not be
permitted to build up in any construction area shall be kept separately.
 Housekeeping is the responsibility of all site personnel and line management
 Shall be demonstrated by continuous efforts of supervising staff towards this
Activity.
Machinery shall be maintained cleaned and free of un-necessary materials, oils,
grease.

 Walkways shall be free from any of obstruction, Cables and hoses shall be
routed properly.
 Materials shall be stacked and secured properly, and Work area shall be cleaned
at the shift end or completion of work activity during working hours.
 Periodical scrap removal shall be done periodically.
9) WASTE DISPOSAL ;-
 Waste shall be dispose in proper way which is generated at work site.
 General waste shall be dispose separately from harmful and chemical waste.
 Metal scrap shall be dispose separately for recycle.
 Hygiene waste shall be dispose separately.
 Papers, Card boards, and other waste that can be recycle shall be dispose
separately as per the recycling process.
10) EMERGENCY PROCEDURE;-

 Emergency procedure shall be on placed to control emergency situation.
 ‘MUSTER STATION’ shall be marked and familiar to every employee.
 Emergency contact number shall be displayed on common places, and shall be
displayed on noticed board.
 Firefighting equipment shall be kept at every hot work area. Fire alarms shall be
placed to inform of emergency situation to employees.
 Rehearsal shall be done periodically to familiarize procedure and to make procedure
in work.
SAFETY INSPECTION; -
 Safety officers carried out routinely to identify the work place or equipment
hazards within it, and assessing the use and effectiveness of control measure.
 Safety inspection shall be conducted after every one month by the safety
department, observation shall be recorded and copy shall be send to the
concern management.

SAFETY AUDIT; -
 A safety audit shall be carried out to check the strength of organization.
 Critical examination shall be carried out of safety management system and
procedures like, Risk assessment, Accidents/ Incidents records, Training record,
Maintenance records, etc.
 Safety Audit shall be carried out by trained auditor or by the Third party.
SAFETY COMMITTEE; -
 The main aim of the safety committee shall be, to establish effective co-
ordination in between Management, Safety Representatives, and Employees to
ensure organizations Health and Safety at work.
 It is one of the most successful tools to promote health and safety at work and
reduce occupational accidents.
ACCIDENTS / INCIDENTS RECORDS; -

 CEPL will investigate each and every Accident/ Incident and Near Miss to find
out the root cause of the accident.
 Based on investigation report further control will be implemented to prevent
the accident, avoid similar accidents to happened again, and to provide
information to all work force about the accident and their control measures.
 CEPL safety department will keep the records as a monthly record, quarterly
record, half yearly and annual record.
TRAINING; - SKE will provide following trainings to all employees, including

Contractors and sub- contractors.
 Induction training to all new employees during the first entrance on site.
 Periodical training for staff.
 Tool Box Training before starting the job.
 Training for new equipment and tools introduced on site.
 Manual handling techniques.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (P.P.E.):-

 Personal protective equipment is the last resort to control the hazards.
 SKE will provide P.P.E. to every employee based on their operations,.
 P.P.E shall be used to protect the employees from the severity of accident and
harm.
 All employees who will enter the work site must have to wear Safety Hard – Hat,
and Safety Shoes.
 All employees are responsible to use correct P.P.E. according to their task. It is
everyone responsibility to take care of their P.P.E. provided by the company.
WELFARE FACILITY; -
 SKE will take care of all the basic needs of employees on site. Clean and clear
drinking water will be provided on site.
 SKE will provide safe environment like, sufficient lights on site in darker area or
at the night time, in generally SKE will take care of all the basic need of
employees.
FIRST AID FACILITY ;-

 First Aid center shall be provided on site, first aid box shall be kept on site with
all the necessary equipments and tools.
 First aid shall be given by only trained and authorized First Aider.
 All major cases will be taken to the nearest hospital after giving necessary first
aid.
 Ambulance facility will be call to handle major cases. All first aid cases will be
kept as a record.
WORK ILLUMINATION AREA :-

 Proper illumination shall be ensuring for all work place.
 Ensure that luminaries are placed properly so that no person is required to work
in dark areas.
 All luminaries should be robust, resistant to corrosion and rain proof especially
at the point of the cable entry.

 The correct type of lamp for each luminary should always be used and when
lamps need to be replaced it shall be in accordance with the supply voltage.
PROCESS OF CONTROLLING ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS:-
Environmental (Noise, dust, & water) Monitoring & Control:-
 Noise Control & monitoring:

The following measures need to be adopted to minimize the impact of noise during
construction.
 Workers who are exposed to noise shall be provided with hearing protection like
earplug / muffs.
 Providing ear muffles to employees who attend any work inside the D.G. Room.
 The noise generation level shall not be allowed for more than prescribed limits.
 Stationary equipment shall be located in such a way that noise levels generated
have least or nil impact on the community.
 DG shall be enclosed by barricades in order to reduce sound levels.
 Dust control:
1. Dust mask shall be used by worker /staff.

 Water :
1. Provision of drinking vessels or other suitable method of drinking.
2. Water provided for labors at site should be potable.
3. Regular Cleaning of drinking water tanks shall be done.
Debris (Construction Waste) Collection &Disposal

1. Debris generated during chasing. Etc shall be removed and disposed at the
designated area.
Waste water (sewage, canteen waste, B/P or Mixer waste).

1. Water Pollution Control. Waste water if any shall be drained in to suitable drain
outlet.
2. Site hygiene. Site hygiene shall be maintained well to keep the good healthy
working environment at our work site.
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN (ON-SITE/ OFF-SITE):
 This Emergency Plan (ON-Site/ OFF-Site) explains the code of conduct of all personnel in
the project site along with the actions to be carried out in case of an Emergency.
 This plan gives the guidelines for employees, contractors, transporters, etc.
 It not only defines responsibilities but also informs about prompt rescue operations,
evacuations, rehabilitation, co-ordination and communication.
EMERGENCY:
An Emergency is a situation, which may lead to or cause large-scale damage or destruction of
life, property or environment within or outside the Project site. Such an unexpected situation
may be too difficult to handle for the normal work force within the project site.

NATURE OF EMERGENCY
The emergency specified refers to occurrence of one or more of the following events: -
a. Fire.
b. Major accident such as structural or building collapse.
c. Natural calamities like storm, earthquake, etc.
d. Land slide
e. Sabotage act of terrorism, civil commotion, air raid etc.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PLAN:

 To control the emergency, localize it and if possible eliminate it.
 To avoid confusion, panic and to handle the emergency with clear cut actions.
 To minimize loss of life and property to the plant as well as to theneighbourhood.
 To make head count and carry out rescue operations.
 To treat the injured persons.
 To preserve records and to take steps to prevent recurrence.
 To restore normalcy.
EMERGENCY CONTROL CENTRE

For the purpose of handling emergency, the following Emergency Control Centres shall be
identified.During normal working hours - The Administrative Office / Project In charge Office.
All communications to and from will originate at this CONTROL CENTRE. The Emergency Control
Centre will have the following: -
 A copy of ON-SITE EMERGENCY PLAN.
 List of important telephone numbers such as Police, Fire Brigade,
Hospitals, and other outside Emergency Services, etc.
 List of key Personnel with addresses and telephone numbers.
 List of Fire and Search & Rescue Members .
 Project layout indicating storage of hazardous materials and location
emergency equipment.
 List Fire Extinguisher.
 List of Personal Protective Equipment
 First Aid box.
ASSEMBLY POINTS
In case of an EMERGENCY the employees should assemble near the defined Assembly Points.
TRAINING AND EDUCATION

 Experience with on site –emergency planning has proved the need of training and
rehearsal.
 Major emergency procedure shall be laid down clearly and convincingly to everyone on
site particularly Key Personnel and Essential workers.
 It is obvious that training is essential.
 The duties and responsibilities of each person and the emergency procedure to be
followed by him should be very clear.
 Seminar: Seminar is conducted in house/. Site controller will explain the plan to all
associated concerned employees.
 Expert from outside explain the plan to all associated concerned employees. Expert from
also may be invited to impart training.
 Thus everyone is conspicuous about his role in the Emergency Plan.

MOCK DRILL
1. Inform all the employees about mock drill.
2. Fix the date for mock drill.
3. Observers will not be involved in the exercise. They will monitor the Mock drill.
4. Emergency Siren / alarm will be raised.
5. After hearing the Siren / alarm, Emergency procedure will be followed as
mentioned in the OEP.
6. Observer will note down the activities with respect to the time.
UPDATING THE PLAN

1. As and when required the Emergency Management plan will be updated.
2. After each drill the plan will be thoroughly received to take account of shortcoming
and accordingly plan will be updated.

1 Approach the emergency site immediately taking note of wind direction.
2 Assess the situation.
3 Inform Security Officer, Tell – NAME, TYPE OF INCIDENT, ACTION TAKEN, HELP NEEDED
and Order Security Officer/Guard to inform all KEY persons.
4 Take lead in controlling emergency until such time concerned Section Manager takes
over the charge.

1 Do not panic.
2 Do not lose temperament.
B. IF FIRE/OTHER INCIDENTS ARE NOT CONTROLLABLE

 Follow this sequence – Inform concerned Team leader, Main Site Controller, Main Incident
Controller and other KEY persons.
 Inform Main Site Controller about Government visitors, if any.

 Do not entertain any outside call except for emergency purpose.
 Do not allow visitor to move around.
SECURITY GUARD

 Immediately report at Security Gate in shortest possible time.
 Follow instructions of Officer In-charge.
 Assist in controlling emergency.
 Assist in controlling contractors, vehicle movement and mob.
 Assist in cordoning off the area.
 Take note of wind direction while approaching emergency site.
 Render all possible help for controlling overall situation.

 Immediately start vehicle and reach rescue squad assembly point (near security gate).
 Rescue squad members to emergency site.
 Take vehicle near to emergency site as directed.

 Reverse the emergency vehicle for quick transports of injured, if any.
 Keep vehicle engine running.
 Always be on Driver’s seat of the vehicle.
 Take the injured to the hospital as directed.

WORK INCIDENT CONTROLLER

 Approach emergency site as early as possible taking note of wind direction.
 Take stock of situation.
 Interact with all concerned departments as the situation demands.
 Keep Main Site Controller informed about the latest emergency situation on continuous
basis.
WORK EMERGENCY CONTROLLER

 Approach to emergency control centre / assess the situation.
 Consult Incident Controller.
 Consult advising Committee Members.
 Instruct Main Incident Controller.
 Communicate to regional head and Govt. authorities, if required.
 Decide upon need for evacuation and blow `Disaster Siren’.

 Inform fellow employees/Officers.
 Report to Fire Squad Assembly point.
 Find out emergency location.
 Approach emergency site immediately.
 Take quick action as per the instructions from Incident controller.
 Bring emergency under control as early as possible.
DON’Ts
 Do not leave process/equipment in UNSAFE CONDITION.
 Do not leave emergency site unless ALL CLEAR siren blown.
 Do not use improper fire extinguisher.

RESCUE SQUAD

 Report to assembly point near Gate.
 Get in touch with security about location and type of emergency.
 Approach emergency site quickly with Breathing Apparatus set and First Aid box.
 Get in touch with incident controller.
 Follow instructions of Incident controller.
 Render first aid to the injured, hospitalize, if required.
 Accompany him to hospital and assist Doctor / Nurse.
 Search for missing person in that area, if required.
 Help in head count.

 Be available in Engineering Department at respective location for any help.
 Approach emergency site with required with tools and equipment and should work on
instructions of Incident controller.
 Help Incident Controller to provide technical assistance.
 Isolate lines, process equipment, if required by Incident Controller.
 Provide emergency equipment like Fire Extinguisher, Hoses, etc., if asked by Incident
Controller.
 Provide stop gap arrangements as per the requirement of Incident Controller.
 Carry out electrical isolation of area as per instructions from Incident Controller.

 On hearing Disaster Siren evacuates as per evacuation route without running and panicky
and assembles at respective safe Assembly Points.

 Do not use telephone except for emergency purpose.
 Do not start work at height, vessel entry, hot work unless permit conditions are verified.
 Do not allow unauthorized person to approach emergency site.

OTHER EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

Rescue of employee from height:
a) If anyone fell unconscious on a platform, allow him to lying down on the platform.
b) Check whether breathing is regular
c) Ask for ambulance
d) Call the Engineer In-charge
e) Arrange for rescue from the platform
If anyone found hanging with safety belt from a structure, made him comfort
a) Encourage him with your word
b) Approach the platform from where he fell or nearby overhead platform
c) Try to rescue him by pulling
d) A crane / hydra may be used, if found convenient to, rescue him
Rescue of Injured employee:

a) Recover the person from the place of incident, if possible
b) Comfort him
c) If he is senseless, check whether the person is taking breathe.
d) Call the ambulance at once. Inform Engineer In Charge for the job & Safety personnel
e) If situation demands, call any vehicle, taxi or rickshaw, rush to nearby hospital
Electrocution:
Switch off all power sources
 Switch off all power sources touching the persons
 Assess the injury. Administer First-Aid

8 LABOUR MANAGEMENT
8.1 Labor Camp: Labor shall live in rented accommodation of nearby area of construction site and
shall move to site through public transport.
8.1.1 Medical Fitness and Medical Aids :Pre-employment and periodical medical examination
will be carried out and An arrangement with local recognized Hospital will be made
8.1.2 Identification & Access Control: Valid ID-card for all staff and workers shall be provided as
per the format receivedfromClient.
9 MATERIAL MANAGEMENT:
 Scrap collected shall be sent to scrap yard
 During transportation, all precautions are taken to handle the items of all equipment
and materials properly.
 During pick up and local transportation, the items are lifted carefully as per the
handling instructions.
 The items are stored such that they are protected from rain, moisture and pilferage as
required.
 Environmental factors, as appropriate, are also taken care of in order to avoid
damage while in transit.
10 EHS TRAINING

The objective of EHS training is to equip personnel with the knowledge, skill and attitude, which
will enable them to perform duties in a safe manner.
PROCEDURE: All workers and supervisors are required to be trained in the potential aspects
and hazards that may exist on a construction jobsite, elimination of aspects & hazards and the
procedure to be followed to perform all work safely.
The Safety Engineers / Supervisors shall liaise with the Construction Department and maintain a
programme for the training of workers to meet EHS Plan and statutory regulations.
SAFETY INDUCTION PROGRAMME

All new personnel shall receive a SHE Induction briefing on basic EHS requirements of the project
and significant features of the construction work relating to the Safety, Health & Environment
when s/he arrives at site
TOOLBOX TALK
Toolbox talk shall be done by execution Engineer and EHS personnel shall ensure that it is being
done regularly.
TRADE AND SKILL TRAINING

Training is necessary to understand the full scope of responsibility for the position assigned often
many of the incident that occur are the resulting of inadequate training the types of issue that to
be considered in identifying training needs are:
Basic orientation training:

 Personnel protective equipment.
 Working at heights.
 Accident /incident/dangerous occurrence / near miss reporting procedures.
 Emergency escape
 Fire safety.
 Electrical safety

Shri Krishna Engineers shall commit for the continuous EHS Monitoring, Occupational Health
Check-ups for each employee, Adequate PPE, EHS Training (Audio/ Video) on various aspects
from Internal/ External agency according to the training need identified at project/ corporate
level, Reward and Recognition for the motivation of the workforce and conduct mass
management programme.
