Antaragni ~ Technorion 2010

A Cultural- Technical Fiesta

“A pristine Dawn of Technology” is the tag line of the upcoming event Technorion ‘10
in the city, keeping pace with the Techo~ Fever, G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering
brings to the Orange city folks an event where there is a chance to get entertained, freak
out and meet our very own goals of technicality at G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering
on 16th to 18th Feb’10.

The event kicked off on a very grand scale, with the presence of many known dignitaries
of repute. The chief guest of the event was Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, Chairman of Nagpur
Improvement Trust. An IAS Officer of World class Cadre and MBBS, had many pearls
of wisdom to share with the young brains of the city’s top college.
The event also saw the presence of Dr. Lokendra Singh, a leading Neurosurgeon in the
city. Dr. Lokendra’s witty remarks left the students on a thinking mode.

G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering redefined their technical fest with a great tadka of
culture by presenting a tri-day event of both technical and cultural activities. The event
went on to the tune of many brands as the young technocrats redefined their goals,
visions in the form of a wide variety of events ranging from Robotics to presentations to
innovation of ideas to the last battle of the words in the Big Debate.

This event on the very first day assured young engineers all the Masti ~ Mazza as it gave
them all the chance to interact with their city counterparts. Let’s watch a legend in the
reckoning and listen to our hearts and have some fun with our enthusiastic brains in the
coming two days to come. What makes this event so different is that it brings to the city
the complete masala added due to the amazing cuisine of culture and technology.

The event had huge entries in RoboWar ~ Junkyard Wars ~ Mud Race ~ Boat Race ~
Clay Modelling ~ LAN Gaming ~ Structure Making ~ Word Hunt ~ Circuit Debugging ~
Blind C and Innovative Idea competition.

RoboWar:- Was nothing less than the clash of the Titans as the Robo’s were to have a
great deal defeating the opponent to prove there real metal.

Structure Making:- It was real taste for the Civil Engineers to design and practically
incorporate their dreams in the attempt to crack the winners spot.

Mud Race:- The event was one of the biggest events as the crowd thronged to see the
mini Bot’s clear the obstacles of water, grease, sand etc.

Clay Modelling:- The event was one of its kind as it was for the first time organised in
central India. The students were to create real structural models. In true sense, it was
innovation at its best.
Junkyard Wars:- The event was a real depiction of the Discovery channel, as the students
had to battle it out with their models which they created in a mere time span of 2.5 Hours,
from the Junk made available to them.

Prizes worth rupees 3 Lacs were given out to the competitors. The event saw
participation from the countries top colleges. Judges and sponsorers had some very good
comments to share. The judge for Mud Race said, “ I have never seen such spirit of
competence and the urge to learn in such young brains”. The event of Clay Modelling
was also one of the star attractions as one of the Judge said, “ The countries future is in
great hands as the students today have the essence of development and good growth of
this county”.

The youth across the city is advised not to miss this great saga of events. The live
entertainment accompanied by Dhol Dhamaka ~Fun Fiesta is definitely going to cross
every limit of Techno- mania.

Also the distribution of discount coupons and exciting prizes by our leading brands for
the fans will add to the attraction of the upcoming events.

In the coming days, the arena of G.. H. Raisoni College of Engineering will be home to
many cultural events like Dance Competition, Singing Competition, the Scintillating
music of apne desi Rockers and the grand finale of Fashion Fiesta.
“Prolific”
Technorion-10 on 16 Feb 2010 at GHRCE Nagpur.

Department of Civil Engineering has conducted successful event “Prolific” under the
banner of Technorion-2010 for all Engineering students. Total 32 groups (four students in
each group) have participated.
All the participants made creative models as per the given specifications. In this
event the winners are - 1st position (G.H. Raisoni Collage of Engg NAGPUR) , 2nd
position (Ramdeobaba Kamala Nehru Collage of Engg NAGPUR), 3rd position (G.H.
Raisoni Collage of Engg NAGPUR)
Prof P.P.Dahale and Prof. K. R. Dabhekar of Department of Civil Engineering,
put efforts for the success of the event.
Fashion Show
Antaragni-10 on 17-18 Feb 2010 at GHRCE Nagpur.

The youth of G.H.Raisoni college of Engineering made an indelible impact on the minds
of large vibrant audience and left them absolutely spellbound as they walk the ramp
exhibiting the fashion show, the most awaited and sought after event of annual social
gathering ‘Antaragni- 2010’.
The budding Engineers, the participants as model of fashion show enthralled the crowd
as they exhibited the concept with professional and right kind of attitude.
The Judges from pagent industry adjusted in the category of best costume, best physic,
best photogenic ,best walk and Mr. & Ms. Raisoni of Antaragni 2010.
A well known RJ of Radio mirchi , Mr. Preetam Pyare capture the pulse of young
audience by his novel way of interacting.
The rounds namely Golden & White , Legacy, Jodha Akbar , Italian Mafia, Red Carpet
and finale were captivating for one & all.
ROBOWAR
Technorion-10 on 16 Feb 2010 at GHRCE Nagpur.

The One of the most fascinating event that took place in Technorion ’10 at GHRCE
Nagpur was Robowar. In all forty players from various colleges across the Nagpur
participated in this event. Prof. M. M. Khanapurkar and Prof. P.M . Palsodkar were in the
panel of judges for the event. Various sorts of robots were involved in it but the Numetic
and Hydrolic robots were the centre of attraction. The event marched through 5 facinating
rounds in which the one has to push the opponent out of the Arena. The final Round took
place between two Numetic robots from YCCE and RKNEC, out of which the YCCE

group stood out as a Winner.


“Code Hawks” and “Word Voyage”
Technorion-10 on 16 Feb 2010 at GHRCE Nagpur.

During the technical festival “TECHNORION 2010”for the annual social gathering
ANTARAGNI -2010 the technical events “Code Hawks” and “Word Voyage” were
conducted by the MCA department.. “Code Hawks” tested the programming and
debugging skills of the participants whereas “Word Voyage” was a test of their verbal
skills. The event was sponsored by the company “Pro C” ,Nagpur. Both events were a
huge success as students from GHRCE as well as other colleges, participated in large
numbers.
For the event “Code Hawks” the first prize was won by Ms. Sumedha Khorgade (MCA Ist
year, GHRCE). The second prize Ms. Aparna Mishra and the third prize was won by Mr.
Varun Kulkarni (6th Sem CSE, GHRCE).
For the event “Word Voyage” the first prize was won by the team of Mr. Jeet John, Mr.
Dhananjay Sharma(6th Sem ETRX, GHRCE), and Mr. Debojit Das (6th Sem CSE,
GHRCE). The second prize was won by the team of Mr. Pravin Ghugal, Ms. Disha
Pandey and Ms. Madhura Ghadgey(2nd year,MCA,GHRCE). Mrs. Aparna Gurjar and
Prof. Gahankari were the Faculty Coordinators for the events.
MUD RACE AND BOAT RACE

Technorion – 10 on 16 Feb 2010 at GHRCE Nagpur

During the technical festival “TECHNORION 2010” for the annual social gathering
ANTARAGNI – 2010 the technical events “Mud race” and “Boat race” were conducted
by the Mechanical Engineering Department. Mud race was a racing competition of
remote operated autonomous vehicle developed by the participant. where as Boat race
was a racing competition of remote operated boats prepared by the participants. The
special tracks for both competition was prepare by the organizer. Both events were a
huge success as students from GHRCE as well as other colleges, participated in large
numbers.
For the event “Mud Race” the first prize was won by Mr. Soheb sheikh (Sixth semester,
ME, PCE Nagpur). For the event “Boat Race” the first prize was won by the team of Mr.
Soheb sheikh (Sixth semester, ME, PCE Nagpur).
All the faculty members of Mechanical Engineering Department and student coordinators
, volunteers took lot of efforts for the success of the event

“Bread Board Competition “
Technorion-10 on 16 Feb 2010 at GHRCE Nagpur.

Department of Electronics & Telecommunication conducted a Bread Board Competition


Under the (Technical festival) Technorion -10 on 16 Feb 2010 in GHRCE Nagpur. In this
competition 110 group (Two student in each group ) have participated from various
institutes from near by region.
In this competition total two round were conducted. Out of 110 group 47
group were short listed for IInd Round. In IInd round the IC 555 based (Led Chaser)
circuit was given. In this competition first Prize winner was SKRKNCE,Nagpur.and
IInd prize winner was GHRCE ,Nagpur. The Judgment was done by Dr. S.B.Pokle HOD
ETC Dept.& Prof. N.V.Ghate from Electronics Dept. GHRCE .Teacher Coordinator was
Prof.S.S.Dorle from Electronics Dept. & Prof. K.K.Jajulwar from ETC Dept. The
student Coordinator was Akshay Bothle & Mayur Mehtha from ETRX dept.They have
taken efforts for successful completion of this event.
JUNK YARD
Technorion-10 on 16 Feb 2010 at GHRCE Nagpur.

The JUNK YARD Event organized in the G.H.Raisoni college of Engg.,Nagpur under
Annual Social gathering TECHNORION -2010. A total of 69 groups(2 participant per
group) have participated in the event from various colleges in Nagpur like Priyadarshini
College of Engg., Y.C.C.E.,nagpur, SDMP Nagpur,RKNEC,PIET.etc. The event were
handled by the faculty In-charge Prof. D.V.padole & Co-In charge Prof .A.R.Deshmukh
(Electronics Engg Dept.). & Student co-coordinator Mr.Pratik Ranjan (8ETC B) & Arnav
kanti Chakravarty (8 ETC A)& Members from each department.
We Selected the three best model for the first 3 winner.
The winners are (1 st) Balamahendra & group(G.H.Raisoni college of Engg.)
(2 nd) Bhushan Raut & group(S.D.M.P.,Nagpur)
(3 rd )Anshik Thumbe & group.
The judgment chair was handled by Prof. G.M.Asutkar (Asst Prof.ETC Dept) &
Prof. M.S.Deahmukh (Asst Prof.MECH Dept).
The Event was Grant success because of the co-ordination & Management from the staff
& student .
