    Amiel Kim Capitan is a licensed professional teacher and a graduate of Master of Arts in

    Ethnomusicology at the Philippine Women’s University. He has presented several papers in international
    conferences on ethnomusicology and music education. Currently, he is lecturing at the Philippine
    Women’s University and St. Scholastica’s College handling pedagogy, music literature, and musicianship
    courses for both college and elementary levels. Apart from this he is also serves as music director of St.
    Joseph’s Cathedral in Balanga City, Bataan.
