    During the course of audit, it has been noticed that the average price of Rough Marble Blocks imported

    by the auditee prior to 01.10.2016 was @ 325 USD/Ton and after 01.10.2016, average price of Rough
    Marble Blocks imported is @ 200 USD/Ton.

    The auditee has informed verbally that due to MIP changes they are importing goods at low
    value. MIP changes wef. 01.10.2016 vide DGFT Notification No. 27 (RE-2015)/2015-2020 dated
    17.09.2016.

    However, it is noticed that there is no agreement with their foreign supplier. On perusal of
    records, it is also noticed that the price of same description of goods from same supplier has been
    changed from average price @ 325 USD/Ton to @ 200 USD/Ton after 01.10.2016.
