The infectious outbreak of Avian Influenza.

Recently bird flu stroke China, Firstly, the good thing with this virus is that it does not spread

from human to human. It comes from domestic poultry and waterfowl and spreads silently

because it causes no visible symptoms or illness in birds. For instance, where it spreads from

birds to humans it causes severe flu with raised respiratory distress and queasiness. Human

infection with this lethal virus was first reported in China in 2013, and in subsequent years there

were waves of outbreaks precisely in January and February. As of September 2017, WHO has

reported 764 human cases of H7N9. The good thing about this virus is also the bad thing about it

since it spreads without being noticed it could be dangerous. This disease is of concern since

most patients become severely ill although sustained human-to-human transmission has not been

reported. There is also a possibility this virus is spreading to poultry in bordering countries and

human infections are likely to be detected there. However, as long as there is no evidence of

ongoing, sustained person-to-person spread, the public health risk assessment would not change

substantially.
