HSAL, Celebrating a Joyous and Solemn 93 Years of Christian Formation

Holy Spirit Academy of Laoag recently concluded a celebration called “Academy day” on

Janaury 24 – 26, 2019. HSAL had been its 93rd year of excellence with the theme “Celebrating

93rd Year of Blissful and Christian Formation”.

On the said day, the opening program was started with a prayer led by Mrs. Else Damaso,

after the students sang the Alma Mater song which they dedicate to HSAL. The PTA officials

officially cut the ribbon which symbolizes the official opening of the booths and games that will

last for two days and on its third day everyone gathered for the opening parade and for the most

awaiting field demo. The students performed their performances in front of the church patio with

everyone, witnessing their talents and love for their school.

This year’s theme is “Year of the Youth” Finally, after performing their dances, the

students formed their formation on the tableau which represents, a globe, heart, people and cross

while singing “One in Mission”. The Academy Day ended with its closing remarks by Ms. Carrie

Cabillo and students with their parents plastered with smiles on their faces looking forward

reaching another year of Holy Spirit Academy of Laoag celebrating its goal for molding hearts and

minds of every students.
