STEP 2: DESIGNING A POSTER

 2.1 Design a poster featuring an inspirational person. Include details about that person and what
he/she did. Write 40 - 60 words.

o Use the following checklist to organize your information. DO SOME ONLINE RESEARCH.

 I included his/her name.

 I included where he/she is from.
 I included his/her age and occupation.
 I mentioned when and what she/he invented, created or did.
 I explained the impact of his/her invention or work.
 I checked my spelling and grammar.
 I created a catchy layout for my poster.
 I included some illustrations.

 2.2 Design your poster. Work on your draft.

 2.3 Hall of fame: Elaborate your final poster. Check your spellilng. Post your work in the classroom
and walk around to get to know the people your classmates selected.

 2.4 Extension activity. Elaborate a digial version with a free infographics application like
www.canva.com.
