SUBJECT: Restaurant Proposal

As you are aware, I am in the process of completing The Restaurant Entrepreneur simulation. In
order to continue with this simulation, I am required to first establish the name and location of
my restaurant. Please review the proposed restaurant provided below and indicate if I have
your approval to use the proposed idea by completing the bottom portion of this memo and
returning it to me.

Proposal Restaurant:
The name of my restaurant is The Peace Place. The theme for my restaurant is to give my
customers the feeling of being in the 70’s and filled with lots of favorite breakfast foods and
coffee. The color scheme I have decided on are colors from the 70’s like Avocado Green,
Sunflower and more. The signature dish at my restaurant will be coffee-flavored waffles. The
restaurant will be located in The Strip District in Pittsburgh.

Restaurant Reasoning:
Breakfast food is and has always been my favorite kind of food. I love all the cool flavors and
colors. I also love coffee a lot. I think the 70’s were a really cool era and had cool fashion and
design.
