Getting Started with Shortcuts
Set up your Mac & Excel workspaceThis will allow you to easily utilize shortcuts.

Moving Around
Move between your worksheetsUse your tools for efficiency.
Select A1 of your worksheetNow, move up and down your worksheet with your keyboard.
Skip over blank cellsGet to the next cell with value.
Selecting Stuf
Select a whole column and rowTry to use your keyboard.
Select multiple columns and rowsDo this at one time.
Group columns and rowsAlso, try ungrouping them.
Delete columns and rowsAlso, insert new columns and rows.

Autofilters & Lists


Create a filterThis will be the quickest way to sort through your data.
Select the drop-down fllterAlso try advanced sort.

Paste Special
Paste Special with your dataPaste Special Values, Formats & Formulas.
Transpose your data.

Formula Fills
Fill formula downAlso, fill formula to the right.
Auto-sum range of valuesUse the auto-sum formula

Formatting
Create comma-styled numbersApply dollar format and percentage format to your number.
Align Center, Left and RightApply and delete your borders.

Getting Started with Shortcuts
Steps
1) Let's do a few operations in Excel with the mouse and then the keyboard: number formatting, bold/underline

2) Set up Mac on Excel to best utilize shortcuts through the Keyboard Preferences menu

3) Use Tools=>Customize Keyboard to let you assign a keyboard shortcut to any Excel operation
