Imagine a World without Communication

Communication means a process by which information is exchanged between

individuals through a common system of symbols, signs or behavior. That word has been
a technique for expressing ideas effectively through speech verbally and hand signals,
facial expressions, body movements and etc. non-verbally. Ma’am Elenita P. Galvez,
English professor in Bulacan State University, played a big role for our section by teaching
all the knowledge and learnings that she can pass to the section.

We have used the manual, Purposive Communication Learning in Multidisciplinary

Context, which is one of the author was our English major. The book consists review of
our high school English subjects and most of its components were formal letters for
businesses, work office, school and etc. We already have answered few of the book’s
activities for practice and application of knowledge that we have learned through every
chapters. The exercises were truly exercised our minds because of the level of its difficulty.

We made a few formal letters as instructed by our professor which are letter of
inquiry, incident report, minutes of the meeting, memo writing, response to bank queries,
send e-mail and received e-mail and notice of schedule. We use the top, right and bottom
1”; left 1.5” margins, arial narrow font style and 12 font size. We also have performances
in the classroom which are interview, extemporaneous speech for interview with the
professor, and we made and send vlog about anything we would want to talk about. And
I’ve learned a lot with the subject Purposive Communication and Ma’am Elenita P. Galvez
that I can apply in the near future and the papers I’ve made which are the formal letters are
can be used as an avenue paper.
