The pump, electric motor, the valves and connection outlets for oil lines fixed to the tank cover, are When the unit is put into operation, the oil reservoir must be filled up well. Check the oil level in the sight gauge. Max. oil level = top of sight gauge. Do not use the pump without oil!! Running the pump dry or turning the wrong way for more than a few seconds can severely damage the pump, so jog the motor fer the shortest practical time to check the direction of rotation and correct if necessary, Before the units are put into operation for the first time, and after cach oil change, the pumps must be bled in order’ to avoid difficulties. Operate the ‘system manually at low pressure to expel air. Bleed point should émit a steady stream of fluid fice from bubbles. Note!! Never start pump unless the hoses are correctly connected to the hydraulic circuit, Electric motor Check that the voltage and current specified on the electrie motor corresponds with the supply. The voltage can be changed mn secordance with the diagram inside the connection box on the motor, The rotation direction is marked on top of motor by an arrow. ‘The starter switch / motor protector inside the push-button box is adjustable.
