1. Research – Search for previous articles and studies.

3. Draft narrative – Develop a set of questions to ask for the interview, Begin
planning a rudimentary flow for the film

4. Logistics – Find places to film, Plan production schedules, Figure out needed
budgets, Communicate with respondents

Production Timeline

1. Conducting the interviews – Film interviews with interviewer and respondents,


Film random miscellaneous shots with respondents for future use
a. Roles: Director, Producer, Assistant Director, Production Designer,
Cinematographers, Interviewer, Sound Supervisors, Finance Officer,
Purchasers, Gaffers
2. Review interviews and build narrative – Figure out how to arrange them, write
narration, figure out what extra miscellaneous shots are needed or if certain parts
of stories should be re-enacted

3. Misc. shots – Film re-enactments if necessary and/or feasible, Film extra
miscellaneous shots

1. Final writing – Continue to write extra narration if needed
