ACADEMIC SECTION NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY =: SILCHAR NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY :: SILCHAR Acad-35/13 28 Dec 2017 NOTICE Sub: Income Certificate In partial modification of our previous Notice No. Acad- 35/13/18036-65 dtd. 11 Dec 2017 on the above subject, it is hereby notified for all B.Tech students, who are going to claim Tution-Fee concession/waiver on the basis of family income, that during their registration for next session in Juanuary 2018, they are to submit any one of the following: a) Valid Family Income Certificate b) Valid Income Certificates of both father and mother (However, if only one of the parents is earning while the other is not earning or the earning amount is less than the certifiable amount, in such cases an Affidavit as per enclosed format is to be submitted during registration process) Income Certificate must be issued by the competent authority of the District of students’ residence and must be issued on/after 1% April 2017. Submission of such Certificate/Affidavit is a must for all such students, claiming Concession/Waiver during Registration. Without Income Certificate/ Affidavit, no concession/waiver will be allowed and, in such cases, students shall pay full Tution fee. For SC, ST & PWD students, no Income Certificate/Affidavit is required. However, they have to submit valid Caste/PWD certificate. ‘This is issued with approval of the competent authority.
