AN ACT TO EXTEND PROTECTION TO LABOR, STRENGTHEN THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF


WORKERS TO SELF-ORGANIZATION, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND PEACEFUL CONCERTED
ACTIVITIES, FOSTER INDUSTRIAL PEACE AND HARMONY, PROMOTE THE PREFERENTIAL USE OF
VOLUNTARY MODES OF SETTLING LABOR DISPUTES, AND REORGANIZE THE NATIONAL LABOR
RELATIONS COMMISSION, AMENDING FOR THESE PURPOSES CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF
PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 442, AS AMENDED, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE LABOR CODE OF
THE PHILIPPINES, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFORE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

this law shall protect workers incase of banckruptcy by being paid in full for their monetary
claims if unpaid

AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE OVERSEAS WORKERS' INVESTMENT FUND TO PROVIDE INCENTIVES


TO OVERSEAS WORKERS, REDUCE THE FOREIGN DEBT BURDEN, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

to simplify this act shall provide incentives for families living abroad to uplift their living
standards by reducing their foreign debt to achieve economic growth.The scope of this act shall
apply to all OFWS registered in POEA and CFO but shall not be provided by ofws with immigrant
status in their host countries

AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8042, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE MIGRANT
WORKERS AND OVERSEAS FILIPINOS ACT OF 1995, AS AMENDED, FURTHER IMPROVING THE
STANDARD OF PROTECTION AND PROMOTION OF THE WELFARE OF MIGRANT WORKERS, THEIR
FAMILIES AND OVERSEAS FILIPINOS IN DISTRESS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

to simplify this act is to protect overseas filipino workers by monitoring their actions to
guarantee their protection,have free access to courts if distressed,and ehnhance their skills by
providing them skills development and enhancement programs
