Dear SIAns,

In light of the DOH declaring a national health emergency over the spread of the dengue virus (DENV) we
must do our part in practicing the 4-S campaign. We are recommending all students to:

1.) Search and Destroy all breeding grounds of mosquitoes. Kindly keep our School environment as well
as your home environment clean. Constantly clean stagnant bodies of water (See DOH Health Poster
Below).

2.) Self-protection measures by wearing protective clothing as using insect repellant. In accordance with
2-S we will temporarily be allowing all female students to come to school in pants.

3.) Seek early consultation at the first sign of illness, and

4.) Support fogging particularly in areas where there is an outbreak.

The current deathtoll is up to 491 and counting. That being said, SIA will be taking extra measures to make
sure that our campus remains mosquito free. We strongly encourage all our students to do their part in
helping the community. Stay alert, stay aware, and stay safe!
