6. Dial test indicator and its usage.
7. Voltmeter- how to read only.
8. Ammeter- how to read only.
9. Torque wrenches of different capacities, and their specific applications.
10. Basic ideas about jigs and fixtures used by fitters.

USE OF HAND AND PORTABLE TOOLS

1. Hand hammers- types and applications.
2. Chisels- types and applications.
3. Files and scrapers- types and applications.
4. Clamps, bench vice, leg vice. Methods of securing work pieces. Cleaning lubrications,
maintenance of the vices.
5. Punches, combinations etc. - types and applications.
6. Spanners- single end and double end, screw type, wrench type Varian sizes- their uses and their
method of handling.
7. Drills- different types and sizes and their suitability in light/medium/heavy works.
