Welcome to the ABC360 Family, Teacher!

Our beloved students are the highlights of our occupation. Before they will choose their teachers, they
will want to get to know you first. They will want to know if you will be the right teacher for them. And
what better way to showcase that than a fun and original script of your introduction!

Here are the general guidelines for script-making:

Teacher’s Introduction
 Should be 40-60 seconds long
 May include the following:
 Teacher’s name. This will be decided during orientation. In the meantime, please think of
possible nicknames or pseudonyms that you would like to use as your teacher’s name.
 Any online teaching experience. If none, any teaching experience, formal or informal, or
experience with kids can help. You may also cite some things that you think they can relate
with such as your hobbies, interests, how you learned English, etc.
 Specialization. What can you bring to the table? Are you good at teaching grammar or
pronunciation? Are you capable to make the class fun and exciting?
 Strategies. How would you teach your students? What can they expect in your class?
 Call to action. This is basically how you invite them to your class. Examples: See you in
class!, etc.

Sample Script:

Hello! My name is Teacher Alexie, and I'm very excited to meet you! I started teaching English in 2009.
Since that time, I've taught different students how to read, write, and speak English. It's challenging at
first, but with some practice, you'll feel more confident using English everyday. Let's learn English
together and I promise that we'll have lots of fun every step of the way. What are you waiting for?
Join me in class and let's start the fun with learning!

Additional guidelines:
- Check for grammar and composition errors after making the script.
- Use simple words and simple sentence structures as much a possible.

Please send the draft of your script to hr.iloilo@abc360.com before the orientation date so that we
can help you re-check your script. In the afternoon of the orientation, your script will be read and
recorded. This recording will be uploaded to your teacher’s page along with your company photo.

Have fun making the script, Teachers!
