IDC5 TRUCK 42 is the utmost expression of multi-
brand diagnosis in the world of industrial and
commercial vehicles, buses, trailers and semi-
trailers, powertrains. A software increasingly
more complete and powerful that allows all TEXA
mechanics to work on a very large number of
vehicles belonging to the makes of the most
popular manufacturers, such as: MAN, MERCEDES-
BENZ, IVECO, RENAULT, DAF, CITROËN/ PEUGEOT,
WABCO, CUMMINS and many more.

The IDC5 TRUCK software has long been offering
the possibility to perform the ADAS system
calibration; starting from update TRUCK 42, it
allows performing the camera and radar calibration
also for the makes that require external support
equipment such as VOLVO TRUCK, MAN, RENAULT
TRUCK, SCANIA by using the brand new ADAS
TRUCK Kit by TEXA. More specifically, IDC5 allows
performing the calibration procedures and offers
detailed instructions to complete all operations
that require the use of the calibration bar or specific
panels, through technical bulletins and diagnostic
help specific for each make/model.
 New Software Features
Optimisation of parameter graphic display
Starting from this update, the software section
dedicated to displaying and consulting the vehicle’s
parameters has further been improved, now
allowing to display twice as many parameters as
the previous version.
Enhanced Troubleshooting function
Another very useful new feature that is available
from update TRUCK 42 is the optimisation of the
search for a specific fault, now even more accurate
and efficient.

Furthermore, when placing the cursor in a specific
point of the diagram, the precise value will be
returned. This new display allows the mechanic to
analyse the trend of several parameters at the same
time.
New sheets for Volvo Euro 6, Scania and Mitsubishi
Fuso have also been added to the IDC5 software. All
these features will help the technician in the solution
of malfunctions, significantly reducing the amount
of time the vehicle is kept in the workshop.
 New diagnostic features
Following are the main developments available by downloading the IDC5 TRUCK 42 update:
European - Asian - South American market
MAN:
- Special adjustments have been developed,
including static regeneration and particulate filter
replacement reset in the injection system for Euro6
models.
- New Opticruise automatic transmission system
has been developed for TG-X Euro 6 models.
- New ZF Traxon automatic transmission system
has been developed.
- New variants in the automatic A/C system have
been developed.
- New variants in the on-board computer
management system have been developed.
- New variants have been developed in the
instrumentation system.
MERCEDES-BENZ:
- The special error clearing has been developed for
Knorr EBS and Wabco EBS control units installed on
the Actros MPIV models.
- The injection system on Mercedes Actros MPII/
MPIII has been updated for the extra-European
markets.
- New variants on the instrumentation system have
been developed for the Class V 447 model.
- Activations and adjustments have been developed
in the CR41R injection system for the Class V 447
model.
IVECO:
- The accelerator pedal calibration has been added
for the MS6.2 injection system on the Stralis Euro3.
- Engine tests have been developed in the injection
system for the Daily 2014.
- The door module systems have been updated for
the Stralis EEV model;
- The Body Computer replacement procedure has
been optimised for the Stralis Euro 3 and the Stralis
software update - TRUCK 42
Euro 5/EVV.
- The new model Stralis M.Y. 2016 Euro 6 has been
added.
VOLVO TRUCK:
- The camera static calibration in the lane position
object sensor has been developed, using both the
TEXA ADAS TRUCK KIT and the panel built by the
Swedish manufacturer.
- New parameters and activations have been
developed for the new Double Clutch transmission
system.
- New Front Axle Steering (FAS) system and the
related calibration for the FH and FM Euro6 ranges
have been developed.
- New parameters have been developed for the
Entertainment system (SEM) on the FH Euro6 range.
- The new Differential Active Steering adjustment
has been developed, allowing the calibration of
the rear steering axle on the following models: FH
(4) (M.Y. 2013), FH 16 (4) (M.Y. 2013), FM (4) (M.Y.
2013), FMX (4) (M.Y. 2013).
RENAULT:
- The camera static calibration in the lane position
object sensor has been developed, both the
TEXA ADAS TRUCK KIT and the panel built by the
manufacturer can be used.
- The new variant of the EDC16C36 injection system
has been added for the Trafic II.
- The new Differential Active Steering adjustment
has been developed, allowing the calibration of the
rear steering axle on the following models: C Series
Euro 6, T Series Euro 6, K Series Euro 6.
DAF:
- New variants have been developed for the VIC3
engine vehicle adjustment system.
- The VTG turbocharger actuator replacement
procedure has been optimised for the Euro6 C engine
versions.
CITROËN/PEUGEOT:
- The injector and rail pressure sensor replacement
adjustment has been added on the EDC16C39
injection system.
- UK Relay models have been updated with engine
type 2.0 BlueHDI Euro 6.
FIAT:
- New power steering management system.
- The injection system has been optimised for the
Ducato Euro 6 with SCR.
- The diagnosis of the Full Back pick-up model has
been updated.
WABCO:
- A new application has been developed allowing the
modification of the TEBS E ECU configuration file in a
simple and safe way.
CUMMINS:
- New engineering parameters have been specifically
developed for some Core 1 variants present in South
America.

Starting from June 2017, TEXA’s diagnostic software programs can no longer be installed
in the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista. In order to be able to
continue using the extraordinary diagnostic functions guaranteed by the IDC5 software,
you must have a PC with an updated operating system.
The operating systems that will continue to be supported by TEXA’s diagnostic software
programs are the following: Windows 7 sp1 32 bit, Windows 7 sp1 64 bit, Windows 8 32
bit, Windows 8 64 bit, Windows 8.1 32 bit, Windows 8.1 64 bit, Windows 10 32 bit, Windows
10 64 bit.
