I am Sheena N. Torres, Nursing Student of Arellano University Legarda Manila., we would like to ask permission
because we will be conducting a research entitled “ASSESSING THE LEVEL OF HIV/AIDS AWARENESS OF
ARELLANO STUDENTS: BASIS FOR PROGRAM RECOMMENDATION’ among COLLEGE NURSING
STUDENTS IN ARELLANO UNIVERSITY. IN Partial requirements for Research 1. This study will utilize a
descriptive-quantitative research design . the selected respondent for this study are the Nursing Students of our
institution who will undergo the following Survey describe the respondent’s level of awareness in terms of HIV/AIDS
basic information such as HIV/AIDS mode of transmission, HIV/AIDS prevention, HIV/AIDS testing, and lastly the
HIV/AIDS availability of healthcare services.

Descriptive-Quantitative Research design which involves comparing and contrasting two or more samples on the basis
of selected attribute at a time. The two mention research design is appropriate for this study because the aim of the
researcher is to describe the respondent’s level of awareness in terms of HIV/AIDS basic information such as HIV/AIDS
mode of transmission, HIV/AIDS prevention, HIV/AIDS testing, and lastly the HIV/AIDS availability of healthcare
services.

In view hereof, may I be granted the permission to conduct is our prestigious institution? Rest assured that the policies,
rule anf regulations would be strictly observe during the conduct of this study to safeguard the rights of the research
