The chart below shows the amount spent on six consumer goods in four European countries

The bar chart provides information on how much money is spent on various everyday products in Italy,
Germany, France and The United Kingdom.

Overall it can be seen that British people spend more money on these particular products, and Germany
spends the least.

Looking at the first three categories in more detail, it can be seen that about £156 000 is spent on
personal stereos in the UK, whereas Germany and France spend the same amount on this item, at
£150 000. With respect to tennis racquets, the UK once again spends the largest amount, at £156 000
(the same amount which the spend on personal stereos). The amount which is spent on tennis racquets
is lowest in France, at approximately £146 000. The British spend the most on perfumes, at £160 000,
and the French again spend the least in this category, at about £148 000.

Turning to the next three products, it is evident that the amount which is spent on CDs in Britain stands
at £164 000, compared to about £148 000 in Germany. Expenditure on toys stands at about £170 000 in
the UK and £150 000 in Germany (it is the same in France and Italy, at £158 000). Finally, spending on
photographic films stands at £148 000, £157 000, £166 000, and £172 000 in Germany, Italy, France and
the UK, respectively.
