FY 23,2020 No.062 s. 2020 CONDUCT OF FIELD LEVEL VALIDATION OF PERFORMANCE BY RFTAT TO: Curriculum Implementation Division Chief Edueation Program Supervisors Public Schools District Supervisors / District - In Charge Elementary and Secondary School Heads All Others Concerned In response to the unnumbered Regional Memorandum issued January 21, 2020, this Office announces that the Regional Field Technical Assistance Team(RFTAT) will conduct unannounced field level validation of performance through classroom observation at the soonest time possible. All District Supervisors / District -In- Charge and Elementary and’ Secondary Principals are directed to be in their respective stations while teachers should be ready and prepared for the classroom observations. Enclosed herewith are the unnumbered Regional Memorandum and the Observation Tool to be used by the RFAT for additional information, For immediate dissemination and strict compliance. VICTOR G. of GRACIA JR., PhD, CESO V Assistant Regional Director DATE : January 21, 2020 SUBIECT : —_ Conduct of Field Level Validation of Performance by RFTAT In view of the current thrust to “Pivot to Quality,” the Regional Field Technical Assistance Team (RFTAT) will conduct a field level validation of performance through classroom observations at the soonest time possible. The objective of the visit will be to help teachers in delivering quality teaching. ‘The manner of visit will be unannounced, and the district to be visited will be chosen by lot, and the schools to be visited by observers will be chosen on the day of the engagement at the district office. School heads shall be ready with their means of transportation to bring their observer to their school. The observer will bring their own food, 50 school heads need not prepare food. They only need to check the readiness of their teachers for the visit. The teachers will just make sure that their lesson plan or lesson log is on the table, together with two (2) copies of the observation tool. The visit shall be friendly and helpful to all parties.
