ENGLISH
All the students are required to draft the Notices / Posters / Advertisements assigned to them respectively.
MATHEMATICS
Project Work to be done for the following topics with the help of examples and proper figure:
Lab. Activity 1 : To verify Rolle’s Theorem; Lab. Activity 2 : To verify Lagrange’s Mean Value Theorem;
Lab. Activity 3 : To understand the concepts of decreasing and increasing functions; Lab. Activity 4 : To
understand the concepts of local maxima, local minima and point of inflection Lab. Activity 5 : To understand
the concepts of absolute maximum and minimum values of a function in a given closed interval through its
graph.
BIOLOGY
Make a project on any one of the topics related to your syllabus e.g. (1) Study of effect of Antibiotics on
Microorganisms. (2) Study of Apical Dominance in Potato and Coleus. (3) Study of pollen germination and
calculations of Pollen Viability. (4) To study Dispersal of seeds by various agencies. (5) Study of Canopy
Architecture of Trees. (6) Study of development stages of Housefly/Cockroach. (7) Study of Metamorphosis
of Frog’s Tadpole through specimens. (8) Study of Coaguable and Non-Coaguable proteins in Milk OR any
other relevant topic.
CHEMISTRY
Collect information to perform an investigatory project on any one of the following topics: (1) Vitamin-C
content in fruit juices (2) Preparation of paints and pigments (3) Water analysis (4) Caesin content in different
milk samples (5) Alcohol content in cough syrups (6) Best antacid available in the market 7) Oxalate ion
content present in different stages of ripening of guava (8) Dyes and fabrics OR any other relevant topic.
PHYSICS
Prepare an Investigatory Project. Following are the examples: (1) To fabricate logic gates. (2) To study the
different brands of cells available in the market using potentiometer and compare their EMF’s and internal
resistances. (3) To find the efficiency of various brands of bulbs. (4) To find the refractive indices of various
liquids. (5) To design a transformer and study its characteristics. Complete the assignments given in the class.
BUSINESS STUDIES
Prepare a project on any one topic:
(1) Marketing Management by selecting on innovative product and applying the tools of marketing mix i.e.
4P’s (2) Application of principle of Management given by Henri Fayol in an Enterprise. (3) Application of
Management Techniques given by F.W. Taylor in a manufacturing unit. (4) Business Environment and its
dimensions focusing any one dimension with real life case studies. (5) Stock exchange by investing a specified
amount (50000) of fake money in certain stocks. Record the price of stock on daily basis for at least 15 days
(excluding holidays) to find out the value of their investment and accordingly rearrange their portfolio.
ACCOUNTANCY
(1) Prepare a project on Analysis of Cash flow statement of any Public Ltd. Company for three years ending
31st March, 2017, 31st March, 2018 and 31st March, 2019.
(2) Prepare a project on Analysis of the performance of various segments of any public Ltd. Company for the
quarter ending 31st March, 2019.

Note: Following points are to be kept in mind while preparing the project. Introduction, details of the topic,
pros and cons of the economic event/happening, major criticism related to the topic, student’s own
view/perception/opinion and learning from the work, any other valid idea as per the perceived notion of the
student who is actually working and presenting the project work.
INFORMATICS PRACTICES
(1) Prepare 72 programs related to python (Arithmetic Operators, Conditional Construct, Loops i. single and
Nested, Functions including menu-driven programs, Lists, Dictionary, Numpy, Pandas). Submit all these
programs in CD or shared folder on google drive on email: naveen.gupta@saintmarksschool.com with an
index file.
(2) Prepare the Powerpoint presentation on Cyber Ethics Part-2 (as per the terms in Class XII Syllabus).
COMPUTER SCIENCE
(1) Make a project using “C++” software.
(2) Prepare a PPT on any one of the topics – (i) Society, Law and Ethics (ii) Cyber Crime.
