Pump data from electric submersible pump in the exploration-well being sent to monitoring
software. This software will interpret the data into well data. With a complex algorithm, ML
model development can create a prediction model that can be used by engineer to take a
decision. The prediction model was built based on the well data from monitoring software.
This model output varies, depends on what data the users need. It can be reservoir model,
location to be drilled, or oil capacity in particular well.
Model from ML will then be uploaded to cloud storage so it can be safely stored and can be
accesed from miles away. By aggregating data across geographies, monitor the overall health
of all connected systems will be easier. Google said “Developing these models often depends
on using historical data to train ML algorithms. It is important to connect operating conditions
to failure incidents so that the algorithms can identify what might have caused each incident.
By drawing on a set of observed operating conditions, these trained ML models can then
identify and predict when asset performance will be affected.”
