From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

1 John 2:15-17

Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not
in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of
life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the
one who does the will of God lives forever.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as
the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions
of the heart.

"Follow Me" is not the Gospel; "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ"
is the Gospel. "Follow Me" is the call to the believer for
service. And having been called of God, Andrew and Simon Peter
immediately answered the call. And so, we who are His elect should respond to
any call to service in His Name, ready to forsake all and count all
things but refuse that we may be used to the glory of His Name.
