Title : The Relationship Between of Family Roles with The Application of Nursing

Care to Stroke Patients at Satya Negara Hospital.

ABSTRACT

The role of the family is needed by stroke patients. The role of the family will help the
patient care process to be as good as possible stroke sufferers can do the activity
again even though not completely back to normal as before stroke. This study aims to
recognize the relationship of family roles with the application of nursing care to
stroke patients at Satya Negara Hospital. This type of research is a descriptive
correlation study, using a cross sectional design. The statistical test results using the
chi square test show the p-value = 0,000 less than the value of α = 0.05 which means
that there is a relationship between the role of the family and the application of
nursing care in stroke patients at Satya Negara Hospital. Suggestion: It is expected
that the Hospital and nurses so that the results of this study become an evaluation
material to further improve the standard of applying nursing care, as well as to
further improve optimal health services to patients.
