We are a young and fast-growing SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and Fintech startup that
offers simple and efficient cross-platform invoicing, accounting and inventory for small
to medium business owners all across the country.

We help small to medium business owners (SME's or UMKM) to record their sales, send invoice, receive payment and manage their inventory
as well as to monitor their business performance through a comprehensive financial statement. There are more than 30,000 entrepreneurs
from all over Indonesia relying on Paper.id to grow their business.

In 21st century, we’ll be the witness of the 4th wave of Industrial Revolution: the automation and connectedness
of our commerce and industry all into one. While the former may still be years away, the interconnectedness of our
commerce is right on our doorstep driven by digitization efforts underway by government and businesses alike. And
just like any change, it will produce winners and losers.

At Paper.id, we’re in perpetual challenge to even the playing field and empower SMEs to be the winner in such
scenario. The trader that brings spices and nuts from remote island in Indonesia. The mom and pop store in the
corner that sells toys in a village. The local craftsmen that handcrafts a wooden chair that you find in your parents’
house. The single mother that sustains her family by selling through social media. They are woefully prepared to
participate or even threatened to be replaced by this great change.

Our single mission is to usher 60+ million of such businesses to the digital era through a single software and
platform that enable them to transact seamlessly with each other. This is like trying to get all the population of Italy
to adopt smartphone for the first time! The word easy would be the last word to describe it.

In the face of such colossal undertaking, we’re not just audaciously chasing our goal but we are shaping the future.
Our enduring ambition and passion ensures that our future is not run by cold, calculating machine but rather by the
familiar face and warmth of humanity.

CTO Statement

Technology is always about solving old or existing problems in new ways. It is also about empowering more and
more groups of people to accomplish more with much less cost / time. I’m continually amazed by company such as
Google, which has allowed such searching power and information management capability to so many groups of
people, including individuals. Gone are the days where people have to carry and purchase big textbooks of
programming to become a good programmer for example. All you need is Google and strong Drive, pun intended.
At what cost? Virtually free because they make money from different channels such as advertising. Yes, advertising
does cost us our time and attention span, but in comparison to the amount of actual money and time we saved by
using Google? The difference is super huge.

We built Paper.id strongly believing that there is a better or “Google” way to build an Invoicing and Payment mini
ERP for SMEs and Individuals in Indonesia. That is why Paper.id is probably the only mini ERP Invoicing and
Payment startup that has truly usable Free tiered package with very little limits. We are striving to bring a lot of
these capabilities such as Inventory Managements, Digital Payment, and Financial Services, previously only
accessible to big corporations, to as many SMEs and Individuals as possible.

Focusing on Invoicing, which almost every company does, allow us to look at supply chain differently. At its core,
supply chain is a huge intertwined network of multiple parties, suppliers, clients or both, invoicing each other. There
are huge values, as we learned from Facebook, of being such platform. Paper.id strives to be such platform. So is it
a tool? Yes. But it has a network effect for the supply chain? Yes. Don’t fret, I have said above that technology is
about solving existing problems in new ways. Come and join us if you want to solve problems with technology in
new ways and directly see lives transformed through it :)

As a startup we have to tackle different challenges on multiple levels.
At Paper.id, we are solving existing problems in new ways, so there is no
so-called “box” or playbook that we can follow in the first place. We
need to continuously redefine and ask ourselves what are the
underlying core problems that our SME users are facing. High analytical
& creativity skills are always required to identify and solve the correct
problem rapidly, because time is always limited in the startup world. As
we and our users are rapidly growing and new technology emerges, the
“box” needs to be redefined again. We never run out of cool new
problems to identify and solve!
