Materials used

- crochet hook 1.25 mm (USA: 8; UK: 3)


- white and yellow or blue (or whatever you prefer) yarn
- needle and scissors

Abbreviations
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
dc - double crochet

The Pattern

Begin
With white yarn, ch 10, close ring by inserting hook into 1st st, sl st.
Round 1
Ch 2 (counts as first dc), work 2 dc, ch 3, *work 3 dc into the center of the ring, ch 3, repeat
from * until you altogether have 24 dc and 8 loops (created by the chs), sl st into second ch
of the beginning of round 1.
Round 2
Work 3 dc – 3 ch – 3 dc into each of the loops of round 1, sl st into first dc, cut yarn.
Round 3 (last round)
Change color
When having slipknot on hook, insert hook where you have cut yarn and work 1 sc.
Work 5 dc – 3 ch – 5 dc into loop of round 2, 1 sc, repeat until round is finished, sl st into first
sc, cut yarn.
Finish
Weave in yarn ends.
With white yarn again, ch 15.
Fold the butterfly in the middle, put the ch around it, insert hook into 6th ch from the
beginning, sl st, ch 5 more, cut yarn. Finished.
