Option Ser is dedicated to analysis of many spectra together (a series) and some of the
model parameters can be common for all the spectra in the series.
2. All spectra grouped in a series should have the same number of channels and the “zero
channel” should be less more at the same place.
3. If you have a series of spectra measured at different temperatures, write the value of
each temperature to the respective data file (third row). See e.g. to the file VR112.dat
4. The ETLA calculations for a long series can be much time consuming, therefore there
is a possibility to run a few copies of the program simultaneously. ( It is convenient
during e.g. long night calculations) . The calculations for different copies usually
finishes at different time. Do not quit any copy of program before the calculations
are finished for all copies.
5. Sometimes the program can stop abnormally. Then the names of default folders for
data and results become wrong. To return to the right default folders quit the
program and run it again. (Sometimes this operation should be repeated few times).
