Kamal and his family went for a

picnic at the Tanjung Rhu Beach last

weekend. There were many people
on the beach.
Kamal built a big sandcastle on the
beach while his sister collected
seashells along the beach. Their
parents sat under a shady tree and
watched over them.
Later, the children and their father
went into the sparkling sea water. He
taught them how to swim. After a few
hours on the beach, they packed up
and went home happily.
 Last Friday, Leslie participated in a
debate at school level. The debate
was held in her school hall. Many
parents and pupils came for the
debate.
All the participants were well
prepared and spoke eloquently. Leslie
performed very well. The audience
listened attentively.
The chairman then announced the
results. Leslie’s team won the debate.
Leslie also won the best speaker
award that made her school proud.
 During the last school holidays,
Jehan and his friends were cycling
home when they saw trees with red
rambutans. They decided to steal
some rambutans for themselves.
They climbed up the tree to pluck
the rambutans. Suddenly, the owner
of the orchard came out from his
house and scolded them for stealing.
He then advised the boys. He told
them to ask permission from the owner
if they wanted the rambutans. The
kind owner then allowed the boys to
pluck from the tree. After they have
plucked the rambutans, the boys
apologised and thanked the owner.
