All Print
items of OPC shall be covered during the flight part.
Yearly OPC are spilt into the half year periods of winter and summer sessions (e.g.
Highlight
Year 1W, Year 1S and so on). The contents is aligned with Ground refresher and
CRM training yearly cycles and supports the process of enforcement of acquired
knowledge through the training in close to real environment.
OPC program covers all Systems, Procedure (Normal & Abnormal) as well as
Manoeuvers over 3 year cycle.
Instructor/examiner can ask any question from the “Systems”, “Operational
Procedures” or “Manoeuvres” as provided in the list of items to form part of OPC.
OPC can be done and is covering LPC for type rating and instrument rating
revalidation.
Additional qualifications such as LVO and/or Right Hand Seat and/or Cruise Relief
Pilot are included in standard session. If additional qualification check/evaluation is
not needed, the time left from those items can be used to repeat necessary items for
improvement of the results.
Check program is approved by VP Crew Training and is revised on annual basis but
not less frequent than every 3 years.
Crew composition
Different crew compositions are acceptable i.e. FO+FO, CPT+FO, CPT+CPT. Check
shall be performed by pilot as PF from the seat he is supposed to fly during normal
operations. PM functions can be done from either seat in order to fill-up the crew.
