Support required from UTL on Node Commissioning

 UTL Commissioning parameters

 Channel/Wavelength addition planning for traffic test purpose.
 Medium/Small Nodes direction
 As per LLD report Jaipur-Kota link, Medium node is installed at Jaipur & Small Node at
Kota for this link guide/ suggest channel addition planning for each direction.
 At composite node where two equipment’s are installed i.e. Medium Node-A/Medium
Node-B, Small Node-A/Small Node-B & Terminal-A/Terminal-B which equipment needs
to be chosen for link commissioning.
 Require clarity on UTL Regenerator because there is no UTL Regenerator reflecting in the
UTL LLD.
 Require clarity on FIM cards in Terminal Node as UTL is supplying three FIM cards for each
Terminal Node. Our defined requirement is 1 FIM cards & way forward required for 2
remaining cards.
 Existing Signal flow (Internal Patching) is by default, require go head for the changes
required in Internal Patching if any during commissioning.
 Link Engineering Report (LER).
 Require Latest software file for software upgradation.
 Require latest software version of LCT to test the Alarms.
 In UTL DWDM Spectrum LCT option for addition is only for four nodes at one time. In
event of link having more than four nodes in that case we will not be able to add more
nodes to commission UTL as there is limitation of max. of four nodes only.
 In event if card is detected faulty during POWER ON then we will check 1st level
verification to declare faulty then require OEM technical support for final declaration of
card faulty.
