    VLSM STEPS

    1. memorize
    128 192 224 240 248 252 254 255>> Subnet
    128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1 >> host

    N.N.N.N > based on need host


    2. memorize formula
    a. HB = 32 - prefix = HB
    b. BB = NB - # of 0's = BB
    c. NS = 2^(BB) = NS
    d. NH = 2^(# of 0's) = NH
    UH = NH - 2
    e. SM = based on the last # 1 step 1.a
    f. NP = given prefix + BB
    delta = based on the last # 1 step 1.b
