Presentation Reflection
This presentation is an example of substitution in the SAMR Model. Instead of the writing
notes on the board for my students to copy, I will simply teach them my presentation and
send it to them to print out and study. My students will then be creating their own health
based PowerPoint presentation and this will meet the ISTE standard 3b, “students
evaluate the accuracy, perspective, credibility and relevance of information, media, data
or other resources” and the standard 6b, “Students communicate complex ideas clearly
and effectively by creating or using a variety of digital objects such
as visualizations, models or simulations.”
