The objectives of the project are as follows:

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PROJECT

Manufacturing companies have, in the past, used several policies to manage the flow of operations, as
their effective management has a direct link to the company’s bottom-line .Toyota Kanban Production
system have been one of the popular control policies to ensure SCM is a critical source of sustainable
advantage through the use of IT.
Kanban is a visual tool that forms an important part of the communication process which drives
lean factories. Kanban signals are used to communicate effectively with the internal and external
operations on issues such as production schedules, lead time of delivery, and stock information , to
name a few.
BACKGROUND
Identify few key items. Shorter lead time helps to build an efficient Kanban system.
Run regular inventory health reports to monitor how the Inventory system is maintaining the correct
inventory.
Benefits can be seen almost immediately by implementing the kanban system.

With the implementation of e Kanban it would reduce its inventory.
