4. Installation Procedure
5. Examine 13" Housing Running Tool P/N 2125909-01. Check the following :
7. Make up Housing Running Tool to Compact Housing with Left Hand Stub Acme thread.
(Approx 6 turns). Do not overtorque this connection.
8. Prepare Compact Housing for running by backing the 12 off sliplock activating nuts until
the slips are in their uppermost position and lock in by tightening the slip retaining
screws hand tight only.
9. Lower Compact Housing over the 13.3/8" casing stub. Check side outlets orientation.
Ensure that Compact Housing top hub is perfectly leveled loosen the slips retaining
screws.
10. Test between T seals by the 9/16" Autoclave dedicated test port on bottom of Compact
Housing. Test to 3000 PSI or 80% of 13.3/8" casing collapse pressure whichever is less.
12. If not already done, install outlet equipment as per Customer instructions.
1. Examine 13.5/8" 5000 Drilling Adapter P/N 2205286-01. Check the following :
3. Ensure that segments of Fastlock connector and lockscrews are fully retracted.
4. Inspect top gasket preparation of 13" Compact Housing, clean with diesel, and remove
small scratches with fine emery paper or Scotch Brite. Install a ring gasket type CF-13.
8. Run two stands of heavy weight drill pipe (NC50) into hole.
9. Make up 13" Combination Tool onto heavy weight drill pipe (pins facing up).
11. Run Combination Tool through BOP's and land in Compact Housing.
12. Close rams on drill string and test BOP's through the kill line (5000 PSI or 80% of the
collapse resistance of the running string used, whichever is less).
1. Make up 13" Combination Tool P/N 2125910-01 on a drill string (NC50) pins facing
down.
2. Examine 13" Lower Wear Bushing P/N 2205200-01. Verify the following :
3. Connect Wear Bushing onto Combination Tool (1/4 turn right hand).
5. Run Wear Bushing with Combination Tool through BOP's and land in Compact Housing.
7. Disengage Combination Tool from Wear Bushing (1/4 turn left hand) and retrieve to rig
floor.
9. Run Combination Tool through BOP's, pins facing down and land onto Wear Bushing.
10. Connect Combination Tool to Wear Bushing (1/4 turn right hand).
13. Inspect Combination Tool and Wear Bushing for damage, clean, grease and stow away.
2. Examine Casing Hanger Running Tool P/N 2205201-01 (pre-assembled with crossover
adapter P/N 2205445-01). Check the following :
3. Make up Casing Hanger Running Tool to a 9.5/8" New Vam landing string.
4. Make up Casing Hanger Running Tool to Casing Hanger with Left Hand Stub Acme
thread. (Approx 6 turns). Do not overtorque this connection.
7. Make up Casing Hanger to last joint of casing to the required torque for 9.5/8" 53.5 lbs/ft
TENARIS MS.
Nota: It is recommended to run a centralizer below Casing Hanger.
8. Lower Casing Hanger through BOP stack and land on 45° shoulder inside Compact
Housing.
9. Cement casing per Completion program, taking return through BOP's stack or through
Compact Housing lower outlets.
10. After cementing, back out running tool (approx 6 turns Right Hand), retrieve to rig floor,
clean, grease and stow away.
5. Lower Jetting Tool through BOP stack and slowly begin washing top of 13" Compact
Housing, slowly rotating to achieve a full circumferential washing effect.
6. Lower Jetting Tool slowly continuing to wash housing bore and seal areas of casing
hanger, pumping water down drill pipe during running.
2. Examine the Seal Assembly Running Tool P/N 2095627-01. Check the following :
4. Partially screw Seal Assembly onto Running Tool until tool outer sleeve is flush with top
of snapring groove (approx 4 turns Left Hand).
5. Fit and wind in installation tool P/N 2017561-08 to compress snapring OD flush with OD
of Seal Assembly body.
6. Recording the number of turns, fully screw Seal Assembly Running Tool until it stops
against snapring.
9. With lower outlets in Compact Housing open, slowly lower Seal Assembly through BOP
and land on Casing Hanger.
10. Rotate Running Tool anti-clockwise to engage anti-rotation pins of Seal Assembly.
11. Slowly back out running tool the number of turns recorded at step 6 to allow the
snapring to expand into its groove in the Compact Housing.
12. To confirm expansion of snapring, an overpull of 20,000 lbs can be applied to the
running tool at this stage.
13. Pressure test Seal Assembly through 9/16" Autoclave dedicated test ports in Compact
Housing (5000 PSI max).
14. After test, fully back out running tool (approx 4 turns Right Hand) and retrieve to rig floor,
clean, grease and stow away.
Nota: This is an optional phase, depending if BOP's have been disconnected or have
to be tested per rig procedures.
1. Ensure that segments of Fastlock connector and lockscrews are fully retracted.

7. Disengage Combination Tool from Wear Bushing (1/4 turn left hand) and retrieve to rig
floor.
9. Run Combination Tool through BOP's, pins facing down and land onto Wear Bushing.
10. Connect combination Tool to Wear Bushing (1/4 turn right hand).
13. Inspect Combination Tool and Wear Bushing for damage, clean, grease and stow away.
2. Examine Casing Hanger Running Tool P/N 2205292-01. Check the following :
3. Make up Casing Hanger Running Tool to a 7" New Vam landing string.
4. Make up Casing Hanger Running Tool to Casing Hanger with Left Hand Stub Acme
thread. (approx. 6 turns). Do not overtorque this connection.
7. Make up Casing Hanger to last joint of casing to required torque for 7" TENARIS MS
32lbs/ft.
Nota: It is recommended that a centralizer be run below Casing Hanger.
8. Lower Casing Hanger through BOP stack and land on Seal Assembly.
9. Cement casing per Completion program, taking return through BOP's stack or through
Compact Housing middle outlets.
10. After cementing, back out running tool (approx. 6 turns Right Hand), retrieve to rig floor,
clean, grease and stow away.

and land on Casing Hanger.
10. Rotate Running Tool anti-clockwise to engage anti-rotation pins of Seal Assembly.
11. Slowly back out running tool the number of turns recorded at step 6 to allow the
snapring to expand into its groove in the Compact Housing.
12. To confirm expansion of snapring, an overpull of 20,000 lbs can be applied to the
running tool at this stage.
13. Pressure test Seal Assembly through 9/16" Autoclave dedicated test ports in Compact
Housing (5000 PSI max)*.
14. After test, fully back out running tool (approx 4 turns Right Hand) and retrieve to rig floor,
clean, grease and stow away.
*This test pressure is equal to the maximum expected pressure inside the 7" 29lbs/ft P110
casing (ie 66% of the burst resistance).
Nota: This is an optional phase, depending if BOP's have been disconnected or have
to be tested per rig procedures.

5. Run Wear Bushing with Combination Tool through BOP's and land on top of Seal
Assembly.
7. Disengage Combination Tool from Wear Bushing (1/4 turn left hand) and retrieve to rig
floor.
9. Run Combination Tool through BOP's, pins facing down and land onto Wear Bushing.
10. Connect Combination Tool to Wear Bushing (1/4 turn right hand).
13. Inspect Combination Tool and Wear Bushing for damage, clean, grease and stow away.

hanger, pumping water down drill pipe during running.
1. Examine Tubing Hanger P/N 2114762-01-03. Remove both SRL protectors and check
the following:
2. Examine the Dual Tubing Hanger Running Tool (DTHRT) P/N 2114759-01-01. Check
the following:
3. Make up both subs of the DTHRT to 2.3/8" New Vam running strings.
4. Pick up the DTHRT and connect to the tubing hanger by the 2.625"-4TPI Stub Acme
Left Hand thread of mandrel sub #1. Screw until the outer sleeve stops against the
tubing hanger snapring.
5. Pick up the mandrel sub #2 and fully screw in the tubing hanger thru the DTHRT.
6. Pick up both running strings and place the assembly above last tubing joints.
7. Torque tubing hanger swivel joints to tubing to the required torque for the 2-3/8" ADMS
4.7lbs/ft 80 KSI.
8. Using elevators, pick up BOTH STRINGS, remove slips and lower the assembly until the
hanger is approx. 1 meter above rig floor, set tubing slips.
10. Unscrew mandrel sub #1 and lift the DTHRT approx 0.5m above tubing hanger.
11. Install the continuous control lines thru the tubing hanger and thru the mating slots in the
DTHRT sleeve.
13. Test between fittings through the 1/4" NPT test ports on tubing hanger to 5000 PSI or
80% of 1/4" tubing collapse pressure whichever is less.
14. Replace pipe plugs on test ports. Pipe plugs must not protrude from tubing hanger OD.
15. Compress the snapring using the installation tool (eyebolts + nuts + stud)
P/N 2017561-08.
16. Lower the DTHRT and connect to the tubing hanger by the 2.625"-4TPI Stub Acme Left
Hand thread of mandrel sub #1. When the bottom of the outer sleeve is flush with the
top of the snapring groove, record the number of turns remaining before the sleeve
stops against the snapring.
Note: This record will allow positioning the DTHRT sleeve during steps 25 and 31.
18. Pick up the mandrel sub #2 and fully screw in the tubing hanger thru the DTHRT.
19. Open upper annulus outlets of compact housing and install the adjustable alignment pin
P/N 160592-07 fully retracted.
21. Pick up BOTH STRINGS and remove tubing slips. Check for tubing hanger orientation
and visually align orientation slots with side outlets.
22. With pressure in control lines, slowly lower tubing hanger through BOP stack and land in
compact housing.
23. Check for correct orientation of tubing hanger via orientation slot through compact
housing side outlet. Mark landing string at rig floor.
24. Pick up BOTH STRINGS, lift completion 150mm, then extend the alignment pin, screw
by the hexagonal socket approx. 4 turns.
25. Re-land hanger observing mark at rig floor to confirm correct land off. Bleed off control
line pressure.
26. Back out mandrel sub #1 right hand the number of turns recorded at step 16 (the
DTHRT sleeve will move upward and the snapring extend in the locking groove).
27. An overpull can be applied at this point to BOTH STRINGS to check snapring
engagement.
28. Locate the upper 9/16" Autoclave test port on compact housing. Remove the plug.
29. Install a test pump to the test port and test between tubing hanger seals at 5000 PSI
max
30. Bleed test pressure, remove test pump. Reinstall plug on test port.
31. Before wire line operations, rotate mandrel sub #1 one turn to the left (the DTHRT
sleeve will move 6.4mm downward and isolate the monitoring ports on tubing hanger
neck).
32. After wire line operations are completed, fully back out running tool subs #2 then #1 and
retrieve DTHRT vertically.
33. Using dry rods, install two 2" nominal type 'H' two way check valves into tubing hanger.
35. Nipple down and lift BOP stack approx. 2 meters above tubing spool. Cut the control
lines and remove BOP stack.
36. Remove needle valve block and Grayloc #14 gasket from compact housing.
37. Wrap control lines around hanger neck and feed through control line exit ports in
compact housing.
40. Make up needle valve block to Compact Housing with 4 cap screws pushing excess line
back into compact housing.
41. Make up electrical line thru second exit port per dedicated procedure if required.
1. Thoroughly clean ring groove on top of Compact Housing. Remove light scratches with
Scotch Brite.
Lightly oil ring groove and install a new ring gasket type CF-13 P/N 2162890-01-01.
2. Ensure preps for SRL seal in tubing hanger neck are clean and free from defects.
Ensure small holes at bottom of SRL preps are clean.
3. Install 24 off studs P/N 2055959-02 on top of compact housing. The turned down end of
the stud bottoms out in the drilled hole.
4. Examine SRL seal subs P/N 2114719-01-01, verify seals are clean and undamaged.
Lightly grease with good quality valve grease and install in tubing hanger seal pockets.
Nota: The 'SRL' Seal is an interference seal which fits in the Tubing Hanger bore and
Xmas Tree and requires load to fully install. The seal must be installed without any out
of vertical alignment. The Seal should be carefully installed with a block of wood laid
across the top of the seal sharps blows with a hammer or with the installation tool. The
seal will be fully installed during Xmas Tree installation.
6. Remove plugs from ports marked 'TEST' and 'VENT' in the lower part of the master
block.
7. Lift master block and align bores with SRL seal subs on tubing hanger. Ensure master
block is as near vertical as possible and carefully land-off on top of compact housing,
taking care as master block slides over projecting hanger necks and also engages
projecting studs.
8. Make up flangelock connection. Tighten all studs and nuts in an alternating criss-cross
pattern. Recommended torque is 970 ft-lbs/1340 Nm.
9. Install a test pump to the port marked TEST N1 and test the CF and Grayloc #14
gaskets to 5000 PSI to determined holding time. Monitor for leak thru the port marked
VENT N2.
10. Bleed test pressure, remove test pump. Reinstall plug on port TEST N1 only.
11. Ensure vent ports marked VENT N2, VENT N3, VENT N5 and VENT N6 have been
unplugged.
12. Install a test pump to the port TEST N4 and test 'S' seals of SRL subs to 5000 PSI to
determined holding time. Monitor for leak thru the vent ports marked N2, N3, N5 and N6.
13. Bleed test pressure, remove test pump. Reinstall plug on port TEST N4 only.
14. Replace the 2 off type 'H' BPV by two way check valves.
15. Test the SRL seal subs by pressurizing Xmas tree flow bores against the two-way check
valves set in the tubing hanger. Test to 5000 PSI to determined holding time. Monitor for
leak thru the vent ports marked N2, N3, N5 and N6.
1. Thoroughly clean ring groove on top of master block. Remove light scratches with
Scotch Brite. Lightly oil ring groove and a new ring gasket type RX-46 P/N 702002-04-
64. Install the ring gasket.
2. Ensure preps for SRL seal in master block are clean and free from defects.
3. Examine SRL seal subs P/N 2114719-01-01, verify seals are clean and undamaged.
Lightly grease with good quality valve grease and install 'SRL' seal subs.
Nota: The 'SRL' Seal is an interference seal which fits in the Tubing Hanger bore and
Xmas Tree and requires load to fully install. The seal must be installed without any out

5. Remove plugs from ports marked "TEST" and "VENT" in the lower part of the upper
block and in the upper part of the master block.
6. Lift upper block and align bores with SRL seal subs on master block. Ensure upper
block is as level as possible and carefully land-off on top of master block, taking care as
upper block slides over SRL seal subs and also engages projecting studs.
7. Make up connection. Tighten all nuts on 7.1/16" 5000 flange in an alternating cross
manner to the API recommended torque.
8. Install a test pump to the port marked TEST N3 in the lower part of the upper block and
test the RX gasket to 5000 PSI. Monitor for leak thru port marked VENT N7, VENT N8,
VENT N1 and VENT N2.
9. Bleed test pressure, remove test pump. Reinstall plug on port TEST N3 only.
10. Test the SRL seal subs by pressurizing Xmas tree flow bores against the lower master
valves. Test to 5000 PSI to determined holding time. Monitor for leak thru ports marked
VENT N7, VENT N8, VENT N1 and VENT N2 on both side of the 7.1/16" 5000
connection.
2. When the well is in safe condition, drain BOP's by opening Compact Housing lower
outlets.
5. Unbolt two halves of Emergency Slip & Bowl Assembly and wrap assembly around
casing. Use suitable handling rods as required. Bolt two halves back together.
6. Lower the assembly through BOP and land off on 45° shoulder into Compact Housing.
10. Pull on handling rods to break the shear pins, then retrieve slip carrier to surface.
11. Disconnect Fastlock connector and lift-up BOP's above Compact Housing.
14. Using internal casing cutter, cut 9.5/8" casing at 864±3mm (34±0.12") from top face of
Compact Housing. Chamfer inside and outside of casing stub (about 6mm x 3mm).
WARNING: INSIDE PROFILE OF COMPACT HOUSING MUST BE PROTECTED
FROM CUTTINGS AND BURRS DURING THIS PHASE.
15. Thoroughly flush out, clean and grease 9.5/8" casing stub.
1. Examine the 9.5/8" Emergency Seal Assembly P/N 2095630-03. Check the following:
Bore is free of grease and dirt.
Thread is clean and undamaged.
All internal and external seals are properly installed and undamaged.
Anti-rotation pins are in place and operate freely.
2. Examine the Seal Assembly Running Tool P/N 2095627-01. Check the following:
Bore is free of grease and dirt.
Threads are clean and undamaged.
4. Partially screw Seal Assembly onto Running Tool until tool outer sleeve is flush with top
of snapring groove (approx. 4 turns Left Hand).
5. Fit and wind in installation tool P/N 2017561-08 to compress snapring OD flush with OD
of Seal Assembly body.
6. Recording the number of turns, fully screw Seal Assembly Running Tool until it stops
against snapring.
9. With lower outlets in Compact Housing open, slowly lower Seal Assembly through BOP
and land on Casing Hanger.
10. Rotate Running Tool anti-clockwise to engage anti-rotation pins of Seal Assembly.
11. Slowly back out running tool the number of turns recorded at step 6 to allow the
snapring to expand into its groove in the Compact Housing.
12. To confirm expansion of snapring, an overpull of 20,000 lbs can be applied to the
running tool at this stage.
13. Pressure test Seal Assembly through 9/16" Autoclave dedicated test ports in Compact
Housing. Test to 5000 PSI or 80% of 9.5/8" casing collapse pressure whichever is less.
14. After test, fully back out running tool (approx 4 turns Right Hand) and retrieve to rig floor,
clean, grease and stow away.
2. When the well is in safe condition, drain BOP's by opening Compact Housing lower
outlets.
5. Unbolt two halves of Emergency Slip & Bowl Assembly and wrap assembly around
casing. Use suitable handling rods as required. Bolt two halves back together.
6. Lower the assembly through BOP and land off on Seal Assembly.
10. Pull on handling rods to break the shear pins, then retrieve slip carrier to surface.
11. Disconnect Fastlock connector and lift-up BOP's above Compact Housing.
14. Using internal casing cutter, cut 7" casing at 540±3mm (21.26"±0.12") from top face of
Compact Housing. Chamfer inside and outside of casing stub (about 6mm x 3mm).

FROM CUTTINGS AND BURRS DURING THIS PHASE.
15. Thoroughly flush out, clean and grease 7" casing stub.
1. Examine the 7" Emergency Seal Assembly P/N 2205199-01. Check the following:
Bore is free of grease and dirt.
Thread is clean and undamaged.
All internal and external seals are properly installed and undamaged.
Anti-rotation pins are in place and operate freely.
2. Examine the Seal Assembly Running Tool P/N 2095627-01. Check the following:
Bore is free of grease and dirt.
Threads are clean and undamaged.
