SONOGRAPHY OF ABDOMEN AND PELVIS

The Real time, B mode, gray scale sonography of the upper and lower abdominal organs was
performed.

LIVER: Normal in size, outline, echogenecity with homogeneous parenchymal echotexture. Intra hepatic
biliary radicals, portal veins are normal. No focal mass lesions. Portal vein measures mm.
GALLBLADDER: Normal in size, outline and wall thickness. No calculus in lumen.
COMMON BILE DUCT: Normal in caliber and wall thickness. No calculus and SOL.
PANCREAS: Normal in size, outline and echotexture. No SOL.
KIDNEYS: Right kidney: Normal in position, size, outline and echotexture with maintained cortico-
medullary differentiation. The central echocomplex does not show evidence of calculus or hydronephrosis.
Left kidney: Normal in position, size, outline and echotexture with maintained cortico-
medullary differentiation. The central echocomplex does not show evidence of calculus or hydronephrosis.
SPLEEN: Normal in size, outline and echotexture. No focal mass lesion present.
URINARY BLADDER: Normal in outline, distention and wall thickness. No calculus/mass lesions or diverticulum
present. Post void residual volume not significant.
PELVIS: Uterus is normal in size, outline and echotexture. No focal lesion or calcification noted. Endometrial
thickness measures mm.
Bilateral adnexa: unremarkable

No ascites and lymphadenopathy.

IMPRESSION:
No sonological abnormalities in the abdomen and pelvis.

Please correlate with clinical findings and other parameters.
