P&G is partnering with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to focus on sustainable

sourcing of materials for P&G products and packaging, including renewable

forest products and palm oil. As we move to using more renewable
materials, particularly materials such as pulp and palm oil, we need to
ensure that production does not lead to loss of natural ecosystems, with
associated loss of biodiversity, or create other environmental or social
issue. Over the last few years, we have partnered with WWF to ensure we
understand and address the challenges of sustainably sourcing renewable
materials, and they have helped us set a number of goals on this topic. As
a member of the Consumer Goods Forum, P&G joined other member
companies in a pledge to mobilize resources within their respective
businesses to help achieve Zero Net Deforestation by 2020.

Our Goals

Ensure traceability of palm oil and palm kernel oil to our supplier mills by
December 31, 2015 and to plantations by 2020 to ensure zero
deforestation in our palm oil supply chain, with a commitment to working
with small farmers.

Have 100% of the virgin wood fiber used in our tissue/towel and absorbent
hygiene products be third-party certified by 2015 and have 40 percent of
the virgin wood fiber used in our tissue/towel products be Forest
Stewardship Council® certified.

Have 100% of our paper packaging contain either recycled or third-party-

certified virgin content by 2020.

Our goals also call for us to develop the capability by 2020 to replace to
petroleum-derived raw materials with renewable materials as cost and
scale permit. Working with external partners, we have developed several
innovative solutions in recent years. Our focus now is in solutions that can
we can scale to positively impact our global consumers.

Pantene Nature Fusion

The Pantene brand has continued to increase

its use of renewable materials by further
expanding its Nature Fusion bio-resin bottle—
constructed of up to 45% plant-based materials,
excluding the cap. Having first launched the
bio-resin bottle in Western Europe and the
United States in 2011, Pantene recently launched it in Russia, Turkey, and
Poland. Pantene expanded its bottle with bio-resin to the Middle East,
North Africa, and Pakistan in 2012.

Gillette Fusion ProGlide -By partnering with a

molded fiber supplier, we developed a breakthrough package for Gillette
Fusion ProGlide. This resulted in a 57% reduction in plastic, 20% reduction
in gross weight and a 100% removal of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). The
design uses material made from bamboo, sugarcane, and bulrush.
