Our group visited today the Blue Star Martial Arts Club. The Club was founded in 2000.

Since the
beginning, the club has given students the opportunity to compete nation wide and develop effective
self-defense skills. The club offers instruction to all levels of students and contributes to their needs.

The club teach the following martial arts discipline:

 Karate
 Judo
 Kickboxing
 Ju Jitsu
 Taekwondo
 Kung Fu / Tai Chi
 Ninjutsu / Ninja
 Kendo / Aikido
 Muay Thai

Each class size is small (about 4-5 students), but it helps because they get more attention. In total, 120
students are taught in this club.

The instructors are all qualified and they have more then ten years training experience. They teach
the martial arts to students in groups or individually. They demonstrate techniques and help students
to perfect their own techniques.

The instructors are not paid for their time, however, club dues are collected to provide for items such
as equipment and travel expenses. Participants are required to pay dues at the start of each Fall and
Spring semester.

Dues for the club are 300 lei per semester. This allows students to participate in all of the classes the
club offers at no additional charge.

The club facilities are also a plus point:

 Indoor: gym room, fitness studio, swimming pool

 Outdoor: grass and recreation fields

On the whole, the club is good. We strongly recommend it to all those who want to learn martial
arts.
