ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

As per the present structure of the Audubon Zoo, the structure (Exhibit 13), seems to not be in line with
the present organizational changes. Also, the quantum of work of certain departments has increased. In line
with the changes, I have restricted the organization to form divisions as Operations &maintenance, Finance,
Marketing, Personnel, Research & Development and Construction.
• Operations and Maintenance - This division will have further 4 sub divisions Public affairs &
general, which will responsible for all kinds of activities to be held on the zoo campus, community
affairs, liasioning with Government and other public bodies etc. He will also be responsible for
“zoo to do” etc. A maintenance head , who will be directly responsible for all kinds of maintenance
activities, an operations head, who will responsible for the day today operations and will also be
responsible for the visitors coming into the zoo. The general curator will be responsible for the
upkeep and health of the animals/birds in the zoo.
• Finance- The Director will be responsible for all the financing and investing activities, project
financing, audits, annual accounts etc.
• Director Marketing- The director will be responsible for marketing activities, fund raisers,
promotion events etc. Documentaries and other non generic promotion campaigns are expected
to attract attention to the zoo.
• The personnel VP is responsible for employees and labour working in the company. The division
is also responsible for safety, security and also for assigning volunteers to respective divisions.
• A VP(R&D) is responsible for new research and development that can be implemented .
• A VP(Construction) is responsible for the construction of new facility, and upgradation of existing
ones.
