THE ART OF PUPPETEERING Public performances in the permanent theatrical season (puppet shows for children and adults) with combined puppeteering methods, musical, street performances, individual research and creation projects, directorial, set design and dramatic writing projects in the area of ppuppeteering, the participation in national and international festivals (France, Poland, Hungary, Russia), international mobilities, collaboration with Romanian puppet theatres - all of these represent the educational offer of the MA in ‘The Art of Puppet Acting. ‘The MA in The Applied Art of Puppet Acting fs ‘one of our most recent postgraduate study offers. This programme is addressed to students (especially to those who have a BA in Pedagogy) and it aims to employ the basic elements of. puppeteering, using the image and the dramatic ‘character of the puppet not with the purpose of scenic representation, but as a part of the ‘educational process, as a part of personality development, to build motivation systems, to ‘encourage the playful traits of the learning process. Thus, the puppet becomes the ‘educator's tool and the student's partner in the ‘educational process. These techniques can also bbe used in art therapy, in advertising and in the film industry.
