1. What was the state of Philippine Art during Pre-conquest/Pre-colonial period?

In my own understanding, according to the Philippine history, all the arts that was created by our ancestors
are were all preserved and well maintained, during Pre-conquest. From the first human fossil skull found
in the Stone Age Filipino, which is believe to had found in the Tabon cave Palawan, the music, which the
natives loves to play with their own sets of instrument, the ancients sculpture which attained high artistic
level through pottery, jewelry and wood carving. Including the old arts design which is the Sarimanok, the
weaving, to make cloth and other object, the ancient Filipino painting, expressed through tattoos and cave
carving and the petroglyphs, were the Angono’s first work of arts, and to the last work of arts in literature
which are written and oral. The Philippine Art during the pre- conquest were never lost but become more
admired during that time.

2. How was religion affect the Philippine Art?

The Philippine Art artist were inspired by their religious path and practices that they combined their arts
with the sacred art to uplift the spiritual realization of the people.

How Filipinos preserve their indigenous beliefs during this period?

The Filipinos indigenous beliefs were preserved, because the Filipino continually practiced to used their
belief up to this time.
