WOMENS RIGHTS

WOMENS:
Growing up as females has never been easy ,maybe when they
were still kids ,things were not strikingly different for little boys and
girls . Yet, females, as they grow up, may face a lot of disturbance’s or
discrimination from people around them and worse, from their parents
sometimes, in the case of determining their own happiness and their
futures. In my viewpoint, women have the right to live their lives as they
want to and to make their dreams comes true –free from fear of abuse or
force since these are basic human (woman’s) rights everybody is entitled
to .
Women, in my opinion, must gain access to live their lives as they
want to – to feel the freedom .some cultures may force little girls to
marry early the men who are far older than those little girls are. By that
way women’s or girls rights were totally down. At that time, these child
brides do not have the right to refuse the marriage set for them. Little
girls who are supposed to enjoy playing with their friends have to give
birth to their babies whose age is not that far from those little ‘wives’.
This happens due to gender discrimination – a condition where girls are
not entitled to education and there is no other choice but marriage. Or
else, the girl’s families are poor that they need urgent financial help.
In addition woman’s have the rights to make their dreams comes
true. They have the rights to access education as high as they can attain.
They have the right to be smart and to be successful. it is a very unfair
decision where boys may go to schools and girls must stay at home .
Girls are not allowed to go to schools since parents are going to send
them to marriage anyway. The parents consider this going to school as a
waste of money, only on daughter’s education. What the parents think
About is only how to find their daughters good and rich husband so that
they live a fortune life which the parents believe to be the source of
happiness. This may also restrict women’s freedom.

POSITION ON WOMENS RIGHT:

 Many women’s are still not free to control their sexual
and reproductive life and health. Violence against
women’s remains a significant yet under-recognized
problem.
 women’s in all parts of nations continue to be victims of
sexual exploitation and forced prostitution , yet states are
still not taking sufficiency strong measures to address
this alarming problems .
 With respect to the women’s equality in the employment
sector , there is a strong need to take steps to ensure that
women have equal opportunities in the labor market at
all levels , including senior level position , and that the
principle of “equal pay for equal work “ becomes a
reality .
 With respect to the education sector, taking steps to bring
about equal access and the participation of girls at all
levels of the education system is of utmost importance .
This is fundamental to women’s empowerment and
breaking the cycle of gender equality .
 Women’s political participation must be encouraged at
all levels. Gender –sensitive issues are often set aside in
the political agenda or given inadequate funding as a
result of women being grossly underrepresents in
elective functions and higher administration bodies.

In the 21st century, there are still many issues that challenges
women’s economic and political status in the world, and women’s of all
kinds are fighting many battles on many fronts.
1. Education
2. Wages and employment
3. Health care
4. Violence and exploitation
5. Social inequality

WORK FOCUSES ON:

Women’s around the world are more likely to live in poverty
–just because they are women’s. They have to access to land, education,
income and decision-making –all of which keeps them poor.

Women’s rights focus on five areas;

 VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
women’s and girls around the world face
widespread violence, sexual harassment and abuse in many of the
ways even in their homes ,workplaces, on the streets and on public
places . Women’s fear of violence is an attack on their basic rights
and prevents them from living full and equal lives. There were
restricting under certain circumstances.

WOMENS RIGHTS:
From ancient days till now women’s were not allowed
to enjoy their rights. It is better shown by their family (parents) .
Women’s were not allowed to schooling. They thought that if girls
get educated means they will never obey their elders or husbands
.women’s rights were totally restricted by society. Women’s were
considering being inferior to men’s.
The following are some women’s rights which were
restricted by the society in ancient days;

 Right to vote
 Right to education
 Right to speech & expression
 Right to personal liberty
 Right to livelihood
 Right to property
But in 20th century it was totally changed , that women’s have
right to vote ,right to education , to express their points, they have
privacy ,after 2005 women’s also have equal share as men getting from
their father property . Women’s were treated equal to men’s.
WOMENS RIGHT IN 2014:
“Malala yousafzi” shared the Nobel peace prize in
December 2014, she was shot in October 2014 by the Taliban for her
efforts to secure education for girls (women’s) . She fought for child
education. But she was dislike by some peoples and she was shot by
them. As she was a Muslim girl. They thought that it was collapse or
destroy their culture name, giving education to girls was wrong. But she
still fought for women’s rights.

WOMENS RIGHTS UNDER LAW:

Women’s were treated as good in now a day. Women
are still fighting for their rights as equal to that of men’s. There are
certain specific rights for women’s. Legally women’s can claim for their
rights if their rights were violated by others.
It is clearly stated that “right to vote “is a common
right for both men & for women. The main eligibility for voting is to
attain 18 years of age. While they are minor they couldn’t vote.
Women’s were now standing in front of others with
more courage than men’s to claim for justice.
Like army quota, sports quota, physically challenged
quota, etc…. “Women’s quota “was also there in every selection. There
is a special place for women’s in all sectors.
