We worry about our image in the eyes of others which we
shouldn’t. With Jesus, we see one who lives a new kind of existence. It is not the existence of someone who is smarter, stronger, more beautiful, richer or much better. It is the life of a Son who knows the Father, who carries within him the knowledge that the Father favors him. The Holy Spirit will teach us that God is our Father. This is what makes us righteous. Trust in this righteousness of God is what sets us free. I always put in my mind that we should always pray and get closer with God because that is the greatest feeling in the whole world other than my family and friends love for me. CHRISTIAN LIVING

GOSPEL: John 1, 29-34
GOSPEL REFLECTION:
Sin is something that humanity by itself cannot manage. People
are obliged to carry the weight of their mistakes on their shoulders and should repent and avoid omitting sin again. When we are forgiven we should avoid making mistakes and make those mistakes as a lesson or a chance to be a better version of yourself. When we were baptized, we become one with Jesus in his life, death and resurrection which also includes the forgiveness of our sins. Through the waters and blessing of baptism we are washed, made new and cleansed. Then we, as his followers, like John are called to be the messengers and witnesses of Jesus. Being baptized gives us the right to call ourselves sons and daughters of God; it also gives us the responsibility of living as witnesses to Jesus and of being his followers and friends in our daily lives. GOSPEL: Matthew 4, 12-23
GOSPEL REFLECTION:
A joy and happiness that became real in Jesus’ presence. He is
the promised light that has come into us, His physical presence that expresses the definitive arrival of the Light. The light that shines brightly marks God’s initiative performing His first merciful and free step towards a wounded humanity. We should always remember that our personal vocation is founded on God’s original and absolutely free choice. People who sit in darkness, who are comfortable with the way they are and who are pleased with their lives now see a great light. There is hope and grace for everyone to be saved from doom and death.
