The exteria in each bracket decreases as it proceeds and so does the scholarships. Therefore, the students meeting the requirement of Bracket-1 gets the highest ‘Scholarship and those in Bracket - 2 or 3 gets relatively lesser scholarship. {Wv) Scholarship Phases: The amount of Scholarship algo depends: fon the Phase in which the candidate takes admission in the University. Options: Booking of the slot by the applicant a. Online Slot booking is a web based online scheduling system avaiable at wwwipu.in which will be activated as per dates ‘mentioned in Annexure ‘Important Dates for LPUNEST.2020" '. While booking tho test schedule, applicant should ensure that they have the following with them: |. Apphotocopy of their submitted application form ll User name and Password ©. Applicants can book the test schedule, at the centre, date and time of their choice. 4d. The schedule bookings are done on fist-come-fst-served basis, and are subject to availablity. Options: Booking ofthe slot by university a. Applicant has to specty muttiple choices of exam dates on the OMR sheet online application. University will allot any one date (preferably from the given choices) for the exam as per the avallabilty of exam slots, University wil process the request for exam slot within 48 hours after receiving the application form. However, all application received before the start date of the slot booking will be processed only when Online Slot Management will be activated (toler Annexure-X ‘Important Dates). Alot once booked cannot be changed. By default request for change in test centre, date or slot wil not be entertained. An interface Is available on university Website wilpusin for change of slot booking. b. In case of nonavailabllty of slots in a centre of cholee, the ‘applicant may choose to book a slot in an alternate centre, ‘c. If for any reason, including poor response of applicants for appearing ata particular centre, atest centre has to be cancelled, the applicants who had opted for that centre will be allotted another cent. LPU will inform sucn applicants indvidually through registered e-mail ID and mobile number. 4d. The online slot booking is avallable only to those eligible applicants who have submitted the application forms ‘complete in all respects on or before the last date mentioned in Annexure-X ‘2. Itis the responsibilty of the applicant to book their test slot in ‘Online Siot Booking interface in the given ime frame if he/she hhas chosen that Booking ofthe slot willbe done by the applicant Inthe OMR sheet. LPU will not be held accountable for the non- ‘bookings. The application’ entrance test fee wll nat be refunded under any citcumstances for such cases. 1. The confrmation mail will be automatically sent to the registered ‘email address after the applicant has booked his/her slat through the online slot Booking interface. Important Note: |. In the rare and highly unlikely event of a technical failure ‘uring the test, the applicant may be required to attempt for the test again. |. Applicants must vist wowlpuin regularly to obtain latest ‘news, information and updates on LPUNEST-2020. 11, Hall Ticket Process for downloading the hall icket: 1. For Applicants who booked their test slot themselves: The Hall Ticket will be generated immediately after the applicant ‘books the slot through the online test booking system. 2, For Applicants whose test slot is booked by the University: The Hall Ticket will be generated after 48 hrs. of receiving of application form and wil be made available at wwwlpuin. However all applications received before the start date o the slot ‘booking will be processed only when Online Slot Management will be activated (or details refer Annexure X ‘Important Datos). 3. Applicant wil have to use the registered username and password to download the hall ticket. Applicants must provide valid email ID in the application form, ‘The Hall Ticket will indicate the address ofthe test centre, test date, time allotted to the applicant and regulations. Discrepancies, it ‘any, must be brought to the notice of the university immediately at Ipunest@ipu.co.in, ‘The Hall Tickat will NOT be dispatched to applicants via post or fax. Applicants should ensure that printeris connected to their computer ‘while printing the hall ticket. Applicants should take two print outs of ‘the Hall Ticket using the print option on Aé size paper only. Please ‘ensure that all information on the Hall Ticket is clealy visible on the print out 'No applicant will be permitted to appear for the test without a valid hall ticket. ‘The applicants must not mutlate the Hall Ticket or change any entry made therein after it has been authenticated and received by them. ‘The Hall Ticket isnot transferable to any other person. Impersonation |s a legally punishable offence. ‘Tho Hall Ticket is an important document, it must be preserved ‘and produced at the time of admission also. Online Entrance Test 12.1 What is Online Entrance Test: ‘The salient features of the computer based Online entrance test are ‘The applicant sits in front of the computer and the questions are presented on the monitor and the applicant submits his/her answers through the usa of mouse. The computer is connected to the server, which dolivers the test, in real time through a reliable connectivity. . Online Entrance test assumes that the applicant has basic famiarty wit use of computers lke use of keyboard and mouse ‘operation. Itis tne responsibilty of the applicant to acquire these sklls before appearing inthe test and the University cannot ake responsibiity for the same, 12.2 Procedure for Online Entrance Test ‘The applicants must ensure that the computer allotted to them is ‘switched on and any problem with the computer should be informed to the invigiatorimmeciately. ‘The test will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs) and fil in the blank. Fil in the blanks will have one answer having numerical value. Each MCO will consist of a stem which may be in the form of ' question or an incomplete statement and four responses labelled ‘A,B, C and D. One of the four respanses only isthe correct or most appropriate answer. Applicants must choose the correct or most appropriate answer by clicking on the button nest tothe answer ROUGH WORK Al rough work should be done in the paperis supplied in the Test Centre. Any ‘conversation or movement or disturbance in the test hall shall be deemed as misbehaviour and if an applicant is found using unfair Cea ‘means or impersonation, their candidature will be canceled and ey will be lable to be debarred trom taking examination elther permanently or for a specified period to be decided by LPU. LPU reserves the right to withhold the result of such applicants. Applicants must sign the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator. The invigilator wil also put hisiher signature in the place provided inthe Hall Ticket 16, List of Test Cities List of test cites is attached as Annexure, 16. Syllabi of the Test Sylabi of LPUNEST: 2020 is attached as Annexure 17. Result LPUNEST will be conducted in two schedules. After the end of each schedule, the scores (subject wise as well as total) obtained by the ‘candidates willbe provided to them, These scores will determine the ‘amount of scholarship they willbe availing. When the conduct of both the schedules is over, the inal result sheet containing the ranks ofthe candidates trom both Schedule land Schedule Il willbe released. For candidates appearing in both the schedules, the best score out ofthe ‘wo will be considered forthe ranking, It there arises @ case of ties in total scores between candidates, ‘comparison wil be made between the subject wise scores obtained by them (details of wnicn will be available on the university webste wvawipuin). Also, the age of the candidates will be taken into ‘consideration to resolve the tie, where candidates who aro elder will 'be ranked prior with regards to other candidates. Since, itis an online ‘computer Based Test (CBT), there is no provision of revaluation of LPUNEST answers. 18. Process of Online Counselling and Admission Online Counseling and Seat Allocation for both schedule | & I wll, 'be done from 30th April 2020 onwards within the prescribed time limit. Based on the students preference, the seat will be allocated. After the seat is alocated, the applicant needs to deposit the fee through Online Mode or manually by visiting the university campus! Camp Office. The detailed procedure of seat allocation, counselling for admission and important dates willbe avaliable on the university website wa tpu.in, Steps of Online Admission STEP 1 - Result and Seat Allotment 1. Download your scorecard 2. Fillthe seat preference, ‘+The applicant has to rank the programme/ stream in the order of your preference numiser in the table gven below from 1 to 21). (1 being most preferred and 21 being least Preferred.) 3. The applicant wil be allotted a particular programme in the first round of counseling, based upon the availabilty of seat and preferences filed by the applicant Note: AMter the frst round of the counselling, the upgradations ofthe allotted seats may be done or vacant seats may be filed in subsequent rounds. 4. Download the allotment letter. TN 1 NATIONALENTRANCE & SCHOLARSHIP TEST STEP 2- Admission 41. Deposit initial payment of € 20000/- (2 500! for application form fee. Rest under programme fee of frst semester) to confirm the ‘Complete the Admission form. Upload the documents. + Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, PAN card, Adhaar card), + 10+2 Pass Certificate. In case the 1042 certificate is not avaliable at the tie of filing this application form (recently appeared), it may be submited later on also. 4. Allthe submitted documents are to be vetiied from the originals within the prescribed timelines. 5, Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university. Test Alteration By defaultrequest for change in date or test center for LPUNEST:2020 will not be considered. Under exceptional circumstances, the request for change in date or test center for LPUNEST:2020 may be considered only after receiving an application on the prescribed format 72 hs. before the exam along with processing fee of € 450. 20. Loan facility For the facilitation of education loans to University students, the University has tied up withthe nationalized banks of India including 1. Punjab National Bank 2. Oriental Bank of Commerce 3. State Bank of India 4. Karur Vysya Bank In addition, Bank of Baroda, Andhra Bank, State Bank of India, HOFC Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of Incia, Canara Bank, ‘Trpura Gramin Bank, Assam Gramin Vikash Bank and Allahabad Bank have also gven proposal latter for providing Loan facility to students of University from their respective branches. Some Non Banking financial companies like NSDL e-governance and AFINOZ are also offering education loan facilites tothe students of LPU, Students can avail Education Loan Faciity inthe frst year as well as in the subsequent years.
