Description
Sasol Lithium Multi Purpose EP-2 is a dark brown, multipurpose, extreme pressure, rust-inhibited, lithium
hydroxystearate base grease.

Application
Sasol Lithium Multi Purpose EP 2 can be used wherever an extreme pressure grease of this type and grade is required or
preferred and is recommended for the long term lubrication of equipment operating within a temperature range of -15°C
to 120°C. Some of its usages are:
„ general purpose automotive and chassis applications
„ machine tool applications
„ industrial antifriction and plain bearings

Features and Benefits

Sasol Lithium Multi Purpose EP-2 should be used with caution in automotive wheel bearings where peak operating
temperatures may exceed 120°C due to heat transfer from adjacent disc brakes.

Storage and Handling
Use PVC, nitrile or other product-resistant gloves and protective clothing in cases where frequent or prolonged skin
contact cannot be avoided.
Where eye contact is a potential hazard, goggles or face shields should be worn. Respiratory protection is not normally
required under normal conditions.
Avoid elevated temperatures and contact with water and other fluids.
Do not store in open containers.
Ambient temperatures and atmospheric pressures normally encountered within buildings are acceptable.
